OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

Monitors designated systems and activities, according to tasks trained and assigned, to ensure that source plasma manufacturing is performed consistently according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), the Shire Quality System, and other applicable regulations for a plasma center. Is able to perform all technical tasks required within the work areas and will work in these areas as a Lead Technician (or Center Supervisor by exception) when not acting as the Quality Lead Technician.

All below listed responsibilities must be completed in compliance with federal, state, local and company-specific regulations related to quality of product, employee and donor safety, and to the proper performance of day-to-day activities. Employees must also maintain complete and accurate records, in accordance with cGMP.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs duties associated with Quality (including but not limited to): (50%)

  • Reviews operational records in association with tasks trained and assigned to ensure they are complete, accurate and compliant with cGMP requirements.
  • Tracks deviations in operating procedures and policies through established mechanisms. Reports error, deficiencies, discrepancies and observations to center management and Quality Management Representative (QMR).
  • Conducts monthly quality assurance audits for critical control points and key elements for the systems related to donor suitability, source plasma collection, sample collection, plasma storage, product release, quality assurance, and employee training program.
  • Ensures SOP’s are current and that staff perform routine tasks according to SOP through direct observation.
  • In the absence of a QMR, works in collaboration with the management team to prepare for and host (if needed) internal auditors and external inspectors. Assists center management teams to ensure timely closure of observations.
  • Maintain qualifications and perform all duties (core and elective) for Medical History, Phlebotomy, and Sample Processing areas. Train new and existing staff on donor center procedures through demonstration, instruction, observation, and feedback. (30%)
  • Provide leadership and training assistance in support of center management and supervisory team, including oversight of operational flow. (10%)
  • Maintain certification and perform all required duties of Lead Technician. (10%)

DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS

Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • A minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in a regulated industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certification in all three primary operational areas of the plasma center (Medical Historian, Phlebotomy, and Processing Technician).
  • Completion of all training through Lead Technician. Demonstrated understanding of quality assurance in an FDA-regulated environment.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $19.00 - $27.17

The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. About the Role: Vice President, Quality Assurance

The Vice President, Quality Assurance serves as the senior leader accountable for defining and driving Olema’s global quality strategy, systems, and governance across the full product lifecycle, including clinical development, manufacturing, pharmacovigilance, and commercial. This leader is the primary voice of Quality at the executive level and ensures a phase-appropriate, risk-based approach to quality that reflects the needs of oncology drug development, where patient safety, data integrity, and speed are critical.

Operating with appropriate independence, this role partners cross-functionally and leads an established Quality leadership team across GCP, GMP, and GPV – aligning priorities, strengthening execution, and ensuring inspection readiness as Olema advances toward late-stage development.

This role is based out of either our San Francisco, CA or Boston, MA office and will require some travel as needed.

As Vice President, Quality Assurance, your work will primarily encompass:

Quality Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and drive a pragmatic, phase-appropriate and unified Quality strategy aligned with Olema’s pipeline and corporate objectives
  • Serve as the senior Quality leader, establishing clear governance, decision-making frameworks, and escalation pathways
  • Lead and develop Quality leadership across GCP, GMP, and GPV, enabling strong execution and maintaining clear accountability

Summary of Position

The Senior Director, Business Analytics will provide strategic leadership for enterprise‑wide analytics supporting Scholar Rock’s commercial launch and long‑term growth. This role is responsible for defining the analytics vision and roadmap across commercial, ensuring data‑driven decision‑making at both the executive and operational levels. The successful candidate will blend strong strategic thinking with hands‑on analytical leadership, deep cross‑functional collaboration, and experience operating in dynamic pre‑ and post‑launch environments. This is a high‑visibility role with direct impact on launch readiness, go‑to‑market execution, and performance management. In addition, this role will identify critical business issues and growth opportunities, partner closely with cross‑functional teams, and embed an external market perspective into the company’s strategic direction.

Position Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise analytics strategy aligned with Scholar Rock’s commercial and corporate objectives.
  • Establish analytics as a strategic business partner across Commercial, Market Access, Medical, and related functions.
  • Synthesize complex analyses into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership.
  • Lead Analytics efforts to support QBRs/MBRs, launch reviews, and strategic planning discussions with data‑driven insights.
  • Develop and own the analytics roadmap, balancing near‑term launch needs with scalable, long‑term capabilities.
  • Provide insights to inform critical business decisions and identify potential drivers of revenue growth.
  • Evolve and co‑manage the data infrastructure, including modernization of national‑level reporting and performance metrics.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for executive‑level insight and analytics requests.
  • Build, lead, and manage a high‑performing analytics team, ensuring alignment on goals, timelines, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Deliver actionable insights into HCP, HCO, and patient dynamics to support brand strategy and execution.
  • Translate complex datasets into insights that inform patient‑centric decision making.
  • Partner closely with the broader Commercial organization to understand key business questions and align analytics and operational strategies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, science or related field. A master’s degree (MBA) strongly preferred.
  • 10‑15 years of experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry with five plus years supporting field sales teams.
  • Proven experience leading analytics in a pre‑launch or early‑launch environment.
  • Strong understanding of commercial analytics, patient services, Medical and market access analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and operate effectively in a matrixed organization.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurer reimbursement methodology and understanding of healthcare benefits (deductible, out of pocket, benefit exclusions, etc.).
  • Familiarity with or exposure to both US and ex‑US commercial requirements.
  • Experience working cross‑functionally with legal, compliance, R&D, clinical and other partners.
  • Strong analytical skills with the capability to appropriately define issues, questions and data; to comprehend quantitative methods and analytical techniques; to perform accurate analysis (correctly calculated numbers, accurate graphs); to cross‑check data and assumptions; to document and establish data trails; and to think creatively about different ways to analyze data and information.
  • Excellent quantitative background that supports the analysis of data to better understand market dynamics and provide insights into product performance and marketing strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to drive toward consensus.
  • Exceptional persuasive written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to present the facts and put forth hypothesis in the face of differing opinions.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to establish logical flow and story and skilled in choosing best graphic representation for points to be made. Experienced presenting to senior management.
  • Ability to adjust to changing needs within the organization and flexibility to change priorities as needed.

Job Description

  1. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS , including, but not limited to the following:

Standing

Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile "bricks" with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36" and 48".

Walking

For short distances for short durations

Delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the delivery vehicle to the customer's location.

Sitting

Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table

Lifting

Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck.

Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'.

Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high.

Carrying

Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves.

Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store.

Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray.

During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties.

Pushing

To move trays which are placed on dollies.

A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24" - 30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push.

Trays may also be pulled.

Climbing

Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.

Stooping /Bending

Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station.

Toe room is present, but workers are unable to flex their knees while standing at this station.

Duration of this position is approximately 30 - 45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously during the day.

Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.

Crouching/Squatting

Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.

Reaching

Reaching is performed continuously; up, down and forward.

Workers reach above 72" occasionally to turn on/off oven controls, change prices on sign, and lift and lower objects to and from shelves.

Workers reaching down to perform such tasks as scooping cornmeal from a plastic barrel, or washing dishes.

Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids

Team Members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
