Position Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Administrative Services Manager (ASM) serves as the EH&S Finance Director, and manages administrative functions within EH&S, including budgetary financial management, business operations, IT systems, facilities/equipment, fleet, MOUs, and supporting technical teams in communications, project management and training development. The ASM manages a team of administrative staff who provide direct support to EH&S colleagues, and works in partnership with senior management to achieve goals of the department.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement administrative programs and processes in alignment with the department priorities and goals. Conducts analysis of each area's effectiveness, and develops corresponding programs/processes for area lead's implementation. Maintains knowledge of campus and systemwide policies, procedures and regulations, including making recommendations for changes based on interpretations and principles of professional practices.
Provides oversight and leadership in designated administrative operations, including:

Finance & Budget Oversight

  • Ensures analysts meet division and campus deadlines for budget proposals and other associated requests
  • Develops and monitors operational and budget processes, staff FTE, and finance.
  • Develops comprehensive financial and trend analysis, and recommends and allocates resources to specific programs and department activities.
  • Identifies budgetary strategies, underutilized resources, and cost control methods.
  • Develops and prepares budgets and financial reports for grants, general appropriations, endowments and other funds

  • In support of Fleet program, drives university vehicles.
  • Plans for physical plant rehabilitation and renovation.
  • Recommends change to policies which affect the assigned unit(s).

Administrative Support for Technical Teams and Unit Priorities
  • Prepares short- and long-range planning for administrative services operations and improvements to processes.
  • Assigns resources and ensures direct and indirect support to technical teams.
  • Directs application programming priorities in consultation with senior management team, campus IT and UCOP priorities.
  • Collaborates with senior management and subject matter experts to provide project management, communications, training, and other programmatic support to achieve department goals.

Staff Development
  • Works on professional committees and assignments, participates in professional training and attends relevant conferences, and/or is mentored or coached on a formal or informal basis.

Other/Required Campus Training
  • Completes and maintains compliance on campus/systemwide training requirements, as well as any training necessary per role.

Emergency Support
  • In a campus wide disaster, serve as a key member of the EH&S Emergency Support Function (ESF) or Emergency Operations Center (EOC). This is part of the campus Emergency Management-Hazardous Materials program, and EH&S is identified as one of the several essential service units that may be mobilized to support the campus EOC.

Required Qualifications
  • Broad knowledge of and/or can quickly learn the organization's processes, protocols and procedures with a focus on budget, account and fund management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques, risk management planning, and/or accounting and payroll.

Salary & Benefits
This is a 100% full-time (40 hrs a week) exempt career position, which is paid monthly and eligible for UC Benefits.

Responsibilities

  • You will partner with the sales organization to drive revenue, new customers and pipeline of AI and Developer Platform solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and marketing to drive developer platform revenue and customer adoption.

Skill Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience selling or supporting the technical sales of cloud computing and storage, full-stack Engineering, or Cloud Developer.
  • Technical expertise in cloud infrastructure, web technologies and AI/ML as a solutions engineer, entrepreneur, or solutions architect.
  • Knowledge and experience of Systems Design. You’ve built a web application, either professionally or as a hobbyist, and will be able to explain your design choices clearly during the interview process. Able to hear a clear, non-technical description of an Application (“It is a chat room, for our 150 most important users”) and quickly determine which Compute, Data, and Security components are needed to build this application.
  • Software development experience delivering full-stack applications, preferably using modern JavaScript frameworks and a variety of databases.
  • In-depth knowledge of at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • Have a good understanding of systems design theory and practice for distributed, full-stack applications (frontend, backend, databases, related services); ideally in a serverless paradigm.
  • Have a strong understanding of developer workflows (branching, release, versioning, CI/CD practices, system integrations).
  • Act as an AI and Developer product expert, educating internal teams and external stakeholders on the value and capabilities of the Cloudflare Developer platform.
  • Knowledge of key market players/competitors in the cloud computing, AI and storage spaces.
  • 30% travel.

Other desirable skills areas include:

  • You’ve built something on Cloudflare Workers.
  • AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Cloud Architect certifications.

Die Rolle

Der Stelleninhaber baut auf der Grundlage einer fundierten wissenschaftlichen Gesprächsführung eine dauerhafte Geschäftsbeziehung zu den Zielkunden auf. Ziel ist es, die jeweiligen LEO Pharma Dermatologie-Produkte erfolgreich zu bewerben und somit die Umsatzvorgaben zu erreichen bzw. zu übertreffen. Zu den Zielkunden zählen niedergelassene Fachärzte sowie Fachärzte in Krankenhäusern und Ambulanzen. Zum erweiterten Kundenkreis gehören ferner Medizinische Fachangestellte und Apotheker.

Ihre Aufgaben

  • Beziehungsaufbau zu den Kundengruppen (Spezialisten im niedergelassenen Bereich, Ambulanz-Ärzten, Klinikern, sowie medizinischen Fachangestellten und ggf. anderen Zielgruppen inklusive (Klinik-)Apothekern), um sie als Verordner bzw. Kunden zu gewinnen oder bestehende Kunden-Verordnerbeziehungen auszubauen.
  • Exploration von Kunden-/Verordnerbedürfnissen im Bereich der jeweiligen Indikation bzgl. Topika und Bio-Dermatologika sowie des Patientenmanagements.
  • Holistische Herangehensweise in der Kunden-/Verordneransprache und -beratung, z.B. durch Weitergabe medizinischer Informationen unter Berücksichtigung aktueller gesundheits-politischen Rahmenbedingungen.
  • Bewerbung der vorgegebenen Produkte und Dienstleistungsangebote von LEO Pharma entsprechend der Vertriebsvorgaben und Marketingziele unter Einhaltung der gültigen Gesetze und Compliance-Richtlinien.
  • Gewinnung von Kunden/Verordnern als Referenten auf Veranstaltungen.
  • Mitarbeit bei der Produktlistungen in Krankenhäusern in Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachfunktionen MSL und KAM.
  • Analyse der zur Verfügung gestellten Umsatz- / Absatzlisten und Erarbeitung von Kunden- bzw. Aktionsplänen, ggf. mit Kollegen anderer Abteilungen (z.B. MSL, KAM, etc.)
  • Proaktive Identifikation businesskritischer Faktoren, wie z.B. Verordnungshürden oder Patientenmanagement. Definition und Umsetzung entsprechender Lösungs-möglichkeiten.
  • Repräsentation von LEO Pharma bei Messen, Kongressen, (Patienten-)Veranstaltungen und Symposien nach Vorgabe des Regional Sales Managers, des National Sales Managers bzw. der BU-Leitung.
  • Planung, Organisation und Durchführung von Weiterbildungsveranstaltungen von Kunden/Verordnern, Medizinischen Fachangestellten und Patienten sowie ggf. anderen Kundengruppen.
  • Professionelle Nutzung aller analoger und elektronischer Hilfsmedien und Systeme nach den Vorgaben des Vorgesetzten.
  • Erledigung der administrativen Aufgaben wie in den gültigen SOPs und Betriebsvereinbarungen der LEO Pharma GmbH beschrieben.
  • Teilnahme an internen und externen Weiterbildungsangeboten zum Erhalt und Ausbau der eigenen Qualifikation. Ständige Weiterbildung durch Selbststudium, einschließlich des Studiums von Fachliteratur in deutscher und englischer Sprache.
  • Qualifikation nach § 75 AMG: Einschlägiger naturwissenschaftlicher Hochschulabschluss, oder Geprüfter Pharmareferent/in
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im pharmazeutischen Vertrieb, Biologika-Erfahrung von Vorteil
  • Indikations- bzw. Produkt- und Servicekenntnisse wünschenswert
  • Gute betriebswirtschaftliche sowie fundierte gesundheitspolitische Kenntnisse
  • Gute Kompetenz im Vermitteln hochkomplexer medizinischer Fachinformationen und Fachliteratur
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Facharzt-Außendienst
