Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough dental examinations, diagnose oral health issues, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment maintenance to promote long-term oral health.
  • Lead your team, dental assistants, hygienists, and other staff members to ensure smooth patient care and treatment coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment plans, procedures performed, and patient progress.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dentistry, attend seminars, and pursue ongoing education to provide the latest and best treatments.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards, following regulatory guidelines and ensuring patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Active state dental license (or in the process of obtaining).
Compensation
Earn up to $200,000 - $250,000 per year

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Engineer with deep expertise in enterprise and automotive-grade network switch technologies. This role focuses on supporting in-vehicle network infrastructure, including central and peripheral switches, with an emphasis on Linux kernel and userspace development.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Linux drivers for network devices, including board support packages (BSP) and low-level driver integration.
  • Support board bring-up activities for custom hardware platforms.
  • Work with central and peripheral automotive network switches (e.g., Microchip LAN9660 family, high-end Marvell switches).
  • Contribute to socket programming and low-level networking stack integration in embedded environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing and validation of networking components.
  • Interface with both Linux- and RTOS-based systems (RTOS is secondary focus).
  • Implement and support Precision Time Protocol (PTP) for in-vehicle network synchronization.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with enterprise-level and/or automotive-grade Ethernet switches (Broadcom, Marvell, Microchip).
  • Deep knowledge of Linux kernel and userspace development.
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills.
  • Experience with Linux driver development and debugging.
  • Solid understanding of network stack, socket programming, and embedded systems testing methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Python for test automation and framework development.
  • Familiarity with FreeRTOS or SafeRTOS.
  • Knowledge of Yocto Project (preferred) or Buildroot for embedded Linux builds.
  • Experience with T1 PHY and automotive Ethernet protocols.
  • Familiarity with Bazel as a build tool.
  • Prior experience with PTP (IEEE 1588) implementation.

Job Summary : The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a board certified/eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join the Division of Pediatric Nephrology. As a provider in this division, the candidate will be expected to provide a complete range of inpatient and outpatient pediatric nephrology services, including management of patients with acute and chronic kidney disease, renal replacement therapy (CRRT, PD, and HD) and kidney transplantation. The provider will be expected to see inpatients at Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital and outpatients at the Summey Medical Pavilion. Travel may be required as the Department expands the ambulatory clinical operations beyond the tri-county area. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.

The Director of Finance will be a collaborative contributor to the leadership team at Friends of Youth. This person will be energized by the challenge of sustainable capacity building in all aspects of the organization. The Director of Finance will be aligning with the organization’s vision, mission, values and goals and will strive to uplift all employees.

The Director of Finance will lead the financial and accounting activities of the agency. They ensure all financial systems work efficiently and effectively, and that financial data is accurate and accessible. The Director of Finance will lead a team and will report directly to the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

  • Support and direct the agency’s accounting and financial functions, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Lead the operating and capital budget processes and collaborate with the VP/COO to oversee long term budgetary planning and cost management.
  • Ensure all appropriate internal controls and financial procedures are in place and are utilized by the accounting team.
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics.
  • Design, develop and maintain systems to provide management information to the VP/COO and Executive Leadership Team.
  • Oversee the agency’s financial assets to ensure they are prudently invested.
  • Analyze and predict cash flow and ensure optimization of cash usage.
  • Ensure adequate reserves are maintained for Facilities and Operations, consistent with board policy and capital contracts.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee financial risk mitigation activities.
  • Serve as liaison to the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors.
  • Work with banks and credit providers to ensure the agency always has competitive terms.
  • Provide leadership, direction and management to the finance and accounting team.

We require:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field required
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience with government contracts and/or local, state, and federal funding.
  • Experience overseeing finance and accounting, in a nonprofit work environment.
  • Strong skills in Salesforce and NetSuite

  • Must satisfactorily pass criminal history check.
  • Must satisfactorily pass tuberculosis (TB) test.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid Washington State driver's license (or be able to obtain one by date of employment).
  • Employees and volunteers who operate their own or Friends of Youth vehicles on Friends of Youth business, must have a safe driving record as defined by Friends of Youth.
  • Employees and volunteers who operate their own vehicle(s) on Friends of Youth business must carry auto liability insurance that complies with the requirements of Friends of Youth.
  • Must successfully complete the following health certification requirements within 30 days of employment: CPR, First Aid and Bloodborne Pathogens.
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required.

About the Position

The Director Philanthropy is responsible for contributing to the annual goals and the long-term regional fundraising plan and growing Canine Companions’ financial support through individual, foundation, and corporate gifts as well as special events. At the direction of the executive director, assists in providing leadership to the philanthropy team to oversee the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and development of local, regional, and national funding sources. Supports regional fund-raising events and related projects, chapter fundraising activities, and has responsibility for soliciting gifts $5,000 and above, including major gifts of $25,000 or more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Strategies: Collaborates with the executive director to develop and implement annual fundraising plan. Develops, implements and supports strategies that will offer sustainable short, intermediate and long-term growth in contributed income.
  • Donor Portfolio: Identifies and researches current and potential individual donors. Cultivates, solicits and stewards a portfolio of 125+ qualified prospects in the$5,000 -$100,000 or more giving range with a focus on major gifts of $25,000+, and moving donors through the gift pipeline. Designs and implements effective tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship plans for donor prospects in assigned portfolio, utilizing approved moves management practices. Documents moves management activities in a timely manner in the CRM.
  • Corporate & Foundations: In coordination with the executive director, identifies, cultivates and solicits corporate support at the local and regional level. Assists with cultivation and stewardship of national corporate donors. Builds relationships and solicits gifts from current and new foundation donors in collaboration with the region’s grants specialist. Serves as a liaison to foundation representatives and hosts campus visits.
  • Events: Participates in regional fundraising events including sponsorship and auction solicitation as well as assists with some logistical planning of these events. Leads the planning and execution of Heritage Society events, the Canine Companions estate gift recognition program.
  • Reporting & Metrics: Assists executive director in developing annual regional income and expense budgets for philanthropy projects and activities. Develops resources to meet anticipated income needs of the regional budget. Provides reports monthly or as directed by executive director on: fundraising activities, major gifts, grants and special events, public relations, chapter fundraising activity, priority contracts and other metrics as identified on the monthly dashboards. Ensures accurate records of all contacts are maintained in Salesforce CRM. Establishes and maintains correspondence records. Works with philanthropy and marketing staff to ensure regional philanthropy correspondence is consistent and accurate.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:

Must Have:

  • Demonstrated prior success with face-to-face gift solicitations over $5,000, including major gifts of $25,000+
  • Ability to balance competing priorities, adhere to deadlines and be flexible to accommodate new projects.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; motivating public speaker
  • Must have proven skills in successfully developing and implementing regional fundraising plans to achieve established goals.
  • Must identify, cultivate, solicit and steward major donors, and have the desire to work in across functional and collaborative environment.

Nice to Have:

  • Minimum of 5 years of combined philanthropy leadership and fundraising experience in a non-profit environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification is a plus

Compensation

  • Salary Range: $85,000-$91,000 annually
