Position Details:

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care, including diagnosing and treating complex gastrointestinal issues in pediatric patients.
  • Work alongside hospital teams to manage cases related to pediatric GI disorders , including preoperative and postoperative care as necessary.
Schedule:
  • Clinic Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5 PM.
  • Weekend Call: 24-hour call starting from Friday evening through Monday morning.
  • The locum tenens physician will be on-call for both urgent outpatient and inpatient consults.
Required Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology Required.

  • Comfortable handling Neonatal ICU cases.
Additional Information:
  • No holiday coverage required. The provider will have the flexibility to observe holidays such as New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas .
  • No admissions or stroke certifications are required for this role.
  • Credentialing timeframe is estimated to be 60-90 days .
