Responsible for the direction and coordination of the activities of the assigned division in order to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital plan for the provision of patient care. Implements standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing and respiratory care delivered and operations of departments. Has administrative responsibility for assigned departments and for program development within the Department of Emergency Room. Works collaboratively with medical staff and hospital administration to personalize the Piedmont Medical Center strategic plan. Leads and participates in development of programs and services to meet the needs of the community.

Responsibilities

• Leadership - Supports organizational change initiatives by assisting staff in understanding organizational objectives and the changing healthcare environment.
• Administration - Develops comprehensive programs for all areas of responsibility to monitor quality of care and status of process improvement activities; completes assignments within established time frames.
• Coaching/Development - Identifies and supports opportunities for professional growth of employees. Provides management development for Nurse Managers and others to facilitate/enhance job performance.
• Financial - Oversees the fiscal management of cost centers in the areas of capital, revenue, expense, and staffing budgets. Reviews resource utilization and budget activities to ensure compliance with budget parameters.
• Practice - Keeps employees informed of and compliant with the requirements of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) and South Carolina board of Nursing (SCBON) in the delivery of nursing care. Ensures that standards relating to accreditation, practice and licensure are met.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Education: Master's degree in Nursing or Business Administration required within 5 years.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in an acute care facility including at least 2 years experience in the specialty area is required. Management experience is required.
• Licensure/Certification:
  • A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required. Should you hold a RN license from another Compact state, you are required to apply for and obtain a Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside within 30 days.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR and CPI certifications required.

Industrial Equipment Mechanic

The incumbent serves as Industrial Equipment Mechanic. The tour of duty is Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, repair and overhaul automotive and industrial equipment such as garage sweepers and scrubbers, riding floor varnishers and scrubbers, forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Maintain and repair gasoline and diesel engines. Troubleshoot and installs alternators, clutches, drive shafts, propellers, bearings, struts, gauges, pumps and other components. Set up and operate machine tools to manufacture component parts or re-machine existing parts.
• Charge and service batteries. Change oil and replace filters. Remove, replace and repair and adjust parts such as belts, hoses, gaskets, seals, pumps, plugs, points, condensers, clutches, brakes, tires and wheels. Repair problems in electrical, hydraulic and vacuum systems. Reset circuit breakers; replace electronic control modules and diodes; clean, adjust and replace parts on vacuum and hydraulic pumps; adjust or replace mechanical and hydraulic transmissions.
• Repair mechanical and hydraulic baling machines and overhead garage door mechanisms. Remove and replace hydraulic cylinders. Replace seals and chain links. Adjust spring tension and limit switches. Repair small gasoline engines on power tools. Perform minor body repairs using body putty, fiberglass and other materials.
• Use measuring devices and test equipment and such as levels, feeler gauges and ampmeter to adjust and test equipment. Connect fuel lines, hose couplings, lubricating systems, steam lines and other power sources. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and other drawings as guidance

We are looking for a Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate travel opening in Decatur, AL. The right PT should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted. Read below for additional requirements.

As a PT, you will be responsible for the evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.

Tasks

As a PT, you should be prepared to perform the following tasks:

• Oversee supervising PTAs, support staff (therapy technicians)
• Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facility
• Understand the respective PT board's rules and regulations, complying within respective state
• Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure team-focused plan of care
• Understand adaptive equipment
• Evaluate and create a plan of care
• Modify plan of care as indicated based on patient's condition
• Use Medical Center computer systems in performance of daily tasks
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply. Must have BLS and state-specific licensing.

Physical Therapists should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. PTs must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

General Function: Under the direction of the Montgomery School Age Child Care Director, the School Age Child Care Program Site Supervisor oversees the daily operations at a designated School Age Child Care (SACC) site and ensures the successful delivery of the program. The Counselor will assist the Site Director and will help the children with homework, create a fun and safe environment, and bring new ideas and games to the program. This job is fully on-site, not remote.

This position takes place on-site at our after school programs located in Montgomery Township schools.

Principal Activities:

• Supervises groups of children and leads staff.
• Plan and implement a varied and challenging program of activities for children (ages 6-13) which includes Homework Time, Enrichment Activities, Organized Physical Activities, Free Play, and Snack Time.
• Create and maintain a fun environment for children to work and play productively and comfortably, and have full access to all necessary materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with children and families - Greet them in a positive manner every day.
• Communicate issues related to the program to the SACC Director.
• With Director, support parent/family communication and follow-up.
• With Director, facilitate planning and participate in-service meetings.
• Supervise and manage daily snack.
• Maintain and track supplies for programs and activities including equipment and program supplies; administrative supplies; and first aid equipment.
• Maintain site/room, equipment, and materials in an orderly and safe manner.
• Manage rosters and attendance records and assure accurate record-keeping.
• Implement safety measures/regulations in compliance with NJ Department of Children & Families Office of Licensing & Community Partners.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• At least two years of experience working with children in a school, after school, or camp setting
• Sound judgment, ability to prioritize and be self-directed, and work independently
• Ability to work flexibly with a collaborative team of staff members and volunteers
• Ability to maintain systems for accurate record keeping
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification, or obtain within 90 days of hire

Lead the technical packaging lab and manage at least 1 direct report. Collaborate with Quality team to problem solve and troubleshoot when deviations occur in production. Conduct packaging component testing to validate new launch items. Work as liaison between the Packaging Team in NY and the R&D/Quality Team in NJ. Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the packaging discipline.
