Along the Sugar River in western New Hampshire, Claremont, NH fills its valley with a former mill city's brick downtown and opera house survived the industry that built them. Healthcare here serves the surrounding rural towns on both sides of the Connecticut River, and travel contracts typically cover emergency and inpatient assignments in a small, broad-scope setting.
