• We provide this service one or two Saturdays per month, ensuring there is no conflict with your current professional schedule. Each clinic day typically runs from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, depending on the number of scheduled evaluations.

PERTINENT INFORMATION

• As the provider, you will provide disability examinations and evaluations that primarily test the claimant s function and range of motion.
• Conduct basic physical evaluations using a structured, easy to follow template
• Perform assessments solely for the purpose of assisting the State of Louisiana in determining eligibility for government programs
• Document findings clearly and professionally
• Not establish a doctor patient relationship

• We schedule each clinic about 6-8 weeks in advance and can work around your current professional schedule. Payment is issued immediately upon completion of the charts, so there is no waiting for billing.

Position Information:

The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System in Biloxi Mississippi is seeking a Board Certified (BC) / Board Eligible (BE) Anesthesiologist to join our Healthcare Team in providing the full scope of patient anesthesia care, evaluation, management and consultation in the pre-operative, intra-operative and post-surgical patient-care continuum in collaboration and communication with inter-disciplinary health care team. GCVHCS is a tertiary care facility classified at Clinical Referral Level 1c, and teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services with state-of-the-art technology, education, and research. Comprehensive health care is provided through primary care, medicine, surgery, psychiatry, psychology, neurology, oncology, dentistry, geriatrics, extended care, and physical medicine and rehabilitation. The physician provides Critical Care and Pulmonology clinical care in an outpatient and inpatient setting. Follows and directs evidenced based practices as established within the Internal Medicine service line. Collaborates and coordinates the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.

This position has a hiring range of $565,000 - $595,000.
