Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Makes sure that workplace safety is Priority #1. Follows all safety policies, completes all safety-related training, locks out any unsafe equipment, and reports any unsafe conditions or actions to a member of Management.

2. Work at the counter as a service writer necessary, serving customers by consulting with them, building relationships with them, and by following the VIP processes to educate them about the condition of their vehicle, based on mileage and results of the MPI vehicle inspection.

3. Work in the shop as a technician when necessary, taking work orders as assigned by management, and completing all required services on customers' vehicles in accordance with VIP standards and procedures.

4. Fulfill all required training and certification for both the positions of Service Writer and Installation Technician and be able to successfully carry out the required duties of both.

5. Achieve better than average success in customer engagement and production of billed hours as measured by VIP Tech-Advisor productivity.

6. Learn and be able to successfully execute all activities as assigned by the Service Manager and help the team deliver a different and better customer experience to every customer.

7. Learn VIP's processes and be prepared to successfully execute the essential duties and responsibilities listed below:

  • Take and pass all required and assigned LMS training
  • Complete all relevant vendor training
  • Become T.I.A basic automotive tire service (BATS) certified
  • Become T.I.A. advanced TPMS certified
  • Become ASE certified
  • Effectively communicate with the team throughout the day, daily huddles, and bi-monthly store meetings
  • When assigned to the counter, monitor e-mail throughout the day for customer appointments and communication
  • Train, support and deliver the 5-for-5 process to educate our customers about their vehicle's conditions and partnering with them on any necessary solutions
  • Attend off site meetings and training sessions as needed. Typically, several times per year

8. Facility and Equipment Maintenance:

a. Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of facility to comply with security, safety and environmental codes and ordinances

b. Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of equipment, ensuring the team has the resources they need to meet our customer's needs

c. Ensures appropriate steps are taken to maintain a clean service department throughout the business day

d. Any facility or equipment issues should be entered into the facility or equipment database

9. Procedural Compliance:

a. Enforces strict compliance with the service Code of Ethics and all municipal, state, and federal regulations and procedures pertaining to the operation of the location.

Communicates with management to ensure compliance with service standards and company policies

Performance Measurement:

The Tech-Advisor supports the Service Manager to help the team achieve all targeted levels of performance as outlined by leadership through various daily, weekly, and monthly reports.

Standard Management Work Week:

SCHEDULE: The standard expectation is 5-day work and 40 hours per week.

ATTENDANCE: Arrive prior to each work shift, be ready to perform duties upon shift start time, and work all scheduled hours as directed by management team

Required Qualifications:

1. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

2. Minimum Educational and/or Experience Level:

We provide paid training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant through classwork and lab skills. CNA Class runs for three weeks and has limited and selective seating with only top candidates chosen.

Concordia pays for the class, class materials & pay you while attending the class!

Rate of pay while in the class is $17.50/hour. Once each student "graduates" from class, they are paid $18.75/hour while working on the floor prior to testing. In addition, Concordia provides $2.00/hour shift differentials for afternoon and $1.50/hour shift differentials for midnight shifts and an additional $1.00/hour for all shifts on the weekends.

Once CNA certification is obtained, base wage increases to $19.75/hour.

Full-time positions are available for the afternoon shifts and include an every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Next CNA Class begins in November! Must be able to make every class to be eligible. The class will be at Concordia at Rebecca Residence. Upon graduation, you will return to Concordia at Villa St. Joseph for employment.

Job Description:

  • Move product manually as required.

  • Use MHE to move and store materials within the warehouse.
  • Use MHE to pick, verify and pack orders according to operational standard practice.
  • Use MHE or other designated equipment to load goods into trailers or other transport vehicles used for distribution.

Responsibilities

  • Performs technical tax review and approval of income tax or sales tax returns and governmental tax examinations of any complexity. This would also include franchise and gross receipts taxes. Sales and use tax experience would be a plus

Job Purpose

As an in-house traffic ticket attorney, you will provide legal representation and support to Priority Waste and its employees in traffic-related offenses such as equipment violations and other traffic laws. You will oversee citation tracking, driver safety compliance, and legal risk mitigation to support the company's operational and regulatory needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Representing Priority Waste and its employed drivers in traffic-related legal matters, including appearing in court to contest citations negotiate reductions
  • Communicate and negotiate with prosecutors, city attorneys, and other legal representatives to seek dismissal or reduction of moving violations to non-moving or zero-point infractions
  • Audit driver safety records, track violations, and advise management on risk mitigation strategies
  • Maintain and manage a database of ongoing citations, court appearances, deadlines, fine payments, and resolution outcomes
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents with state courts and other governmental agencies

Competitive Rates:
  • Sprinters (long miles, good areas): $0.85 - $1.35 per mile, (long miles, bad areas): $0.85 - $1.10 per mile. Canada - Sprinters $1.25 - $1.55 per mile.
  • Personalized loads. We ask you in details what kinds of loads you prefer and only offer you loads you will be interested in - this way saving a lot of time for you.
  • Payment: 3-5 business days, quick pay 3%.
  • Days range: Monday-Friday.

Basic Requirements:
  • You should have your own vehicle (Sprinter / Cargo Van).
  • Be: a US citizen, resident, green card or work authorization holder.
  • You and your drivers should be at least 21 years of age.
