Compensation: $65,000 - $75,000 annually

Anticipated Schedule: Overnights including weekends

Veho's operating hours vary and are based on the needs of the operation. Warehouses typically have first, second, and third shifts and schedules are subject to change at the discretion of the company and to changes in business needs. Warehouse leadership is expected to be onsite during their scheduled shift and is at the discretion of your manager if there is an opportunity to work off-site occasionally. Specific expectations should be discussed with your manager.

Role Summary: As a Ground Operations Supervisor, you are a hands-on leader, working day-to-day with our Warehouse Associates and Leads. You will be responsible for the development of the warehouse staff, including coaching them on the skills necessary to be successful in the warehouse and developing for future success. You will set a standard of operational excellence and ensure your team's success through values-based leadership. Additionally, you will be responsible for the accuracy of reports, scheduling, cross-functional communication, and ensuring sort and launch packages are processed efficiently while adhering to safety standards.

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required. Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred. Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility. Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually. Maintains all department specific required certifications.

When applicable, for applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry. Education

This individual must maintain high personal standards and adhere to and carry out the Purpose and Values of Greater Midland.

Major Job Responsibilities:

•    Maintains appropriate documentation and records for each child.

•    Maintains a good relationship with parents through regular communication and active participation with children.

•    Encourages children to participate in developmentally appropriate games and learning activities.

•    Prepares the area for the program by ensuring toys, supplies, play areas, storage areas, bathroom areas, and furniture are safe, clean, sanitized, organized, and well maintained.

•    Attends to the needs of the children including feeding, distributing snacks/drinks provided by parent/guardian, restroom assistance, and diapering needs. 

•    Ensure safety of the children at all times as that is our number one priority.

•    Consistently demonstrate leadership behaviors aligned with Greater Midland’s values.

Qualifications: 

•    Minimum age of 16 years old

•    CPR/First Aid Training within 60 days of hire

•    Experience working with children preferred

Physical Requirements 

Bending and stooping, lifting and/or moving up to 20 pounds may be required of this position. Various hours may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
