Role + Responsibilities

  • Holds responsibility of the prospective client once an opportunity is qualified by Thunder's Sales team.
  • Leads pre-sales discovery calls, solution visioning/workshops, and documentation of use cases.
  • Actively participates in strategic presales activities, aligning Salesforce capability with business transformation strategies beyond basic scoping and estimating.
  • Generates estimate(s) and presents proposals to clients while highlighting Thunder's differentiators.
  • Manages multiple customer meetings and estimates across varying phases of the sales cycle simultaneously (8-10 on average).
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external teams while negotiating proposals through to completion.
  • Provides technical advisory during negotiations, identifying project risks and potential mitigations.

Required Qualifications

  • 810+ years of implementation/delivery consulting experience within the Salesforce consulting partner ecosystem.
  • 23+ years of experience designing solutions for customers ranging from SMB to Enterprise.
  • Successful track record serving as an overall project owner/Solution Architect for Salesforce implementations, with significant understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Proven ability to run strategic presales activities and solution workshops, looking past transactional scoping/estimating to sell value.
  • Hands-on product familiarity with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Field Service, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Partner Ecosystem Management (PEM) (PEM/Field Service familiarity is a major plus).
  • Ability to communicate well with prospective stakeholders as well as internal Sales teams and leadership, while confidently leading presentations.
  • Keen eye for risk management before and during the sales negotiation process, as well as recognizing additional opportunities for revenue expansion.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to manage through difficult conversations.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

Program Description

Ann Gonzalez Apartments offers 100 units of permanently affordable and supportive housing in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn, developed by CAMBA Housing Ventures (CHV), the housing development subsidiary of CAMBA. These units will support and house a mixed tenant population consisting of low-income working individuals, persons living with severe and persistent mental illness, the formerly chronically homeless, and persons living with HIV/AIDS. CAMBA provides on-site case management and supportive services in addition to 24-hour security.

Position: Security Guard

Reports To: Security Supervisor

Location: 880 Willoughby Street Brooklyn, NY 11221

What The Security Guard Does:

The person filling this position is expected, under close supervision, to: (1) maintain access control and traffic inside facilities to maintain order and security of people and property; (2) detect and/or prevent fires, vandalism, theft, or infractions of the rules; (3) maintain assigned posts throughout the facility until properly relieved; (4) protect employees, visitors and tenants; and, (5) provide directions to visitors when requested.

  • Maintain professional relationships with clients and client confidentiality
  • Practice Universal Precautions/Standard Protocol and Procedures.
  • Comply with all Federal, State, City, and CAMBA security and privacy polices intended to protect the security and privacy of individually identifiable health information.
  • Monitor and ensure the security and fire safety of the entire facility.
  • Employ crisis prevention/intervention and crisis management skills when conflict occurs.
  • Patrol buildings and grounds of facilities where CAMBA programs are located.
  • Examine doors, windows, gates, and all fire exits to determine that they are secure and in accordance with all fire regulations.
  • Observe and report irregularities such as unusual tenant behavior, trespassers, fire hazards, leaking water pipes, and security doors left unlocked.
  • Monitor tenants and the facility via security camera systems.
  • Conduct fire safety patrols and report findings or fire safety concerns to appropriate supervisory personnel.
  • Conduct security screenings of all tenants and visitors entering the facility.
  • Issue commendations to support positive tenant behaviors such as peers helping peers, compliance with rules and regulations, etc.
  • Counsel tenants who violate rules (such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles) and complete infraction reports.
  • Observe departing employees, visitors, and/or tenants to guard against theft of CAMBA property.
  • Document in the security logbook and incident report forms property damage, unusual occurrences, and incidents with employees, visitors, and tenants.
  • Maintain assigned equipment per shift.
  • Sign equipment in and out for each shift.
  • May provide all required information for weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education, Licenses, and/or Certifications Required:

  • NYS Security Guard license
  • Sufficient Education: to comprehend basic reading, writing, and math to execute the required functions of the role. 
  • Must have an 8-hour Pre-Assignment security guard training course certificate.
  • Must obtain a 16-hour On-the-Job security guard training course certificate within 90 days of employment.
  • Must complete the 8-Hour Annual In-Service Course each calendar year.
  • Must have and maintain a NYS Security Guard license.
  • Must obtain NYS Security Guard registration and must maintain registration during employment.
  • Must obtain Fire Guard certification and maintain it throughout employment.

Minimum Experience and Skills Required:

  • One year of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in any other language

Pre and/or Post Employment Requirements:

  • Obtain “Criminal History Checks” (CHC) fingerprinting through the New York State Office of Mental Health (OMH) and the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs (Justice System) and Staff Exclusion List (SEL) clearance.
  • Ability to maintain fingerprint clearance throughout employment.
  • As a Mandated Reporter, you must immediately report suspected incidents/cases of abuse and neglect to the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR) Hotline at 1-855-373-2122 and complete a CAMBA Incident Report.
