Parts Specialist

The Parts Specialist will provide all retail and installer customers with a high level of service. This position will also support store management in the accomplishment of assigned tasks. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions

Follow and promote all company customer service programs.

Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in their selection of merchandise.

Assist managers and/or installer service specialists in serving the professional customers as needed and directed.

Complete assigned company training relevant to position.

Provide excellent service to customers calling the store on the phone by answering all calls according to company policy, accurately looking up parts and quote prices, recommending premium and related items, and offering the Low-Price Guarantee.

Responsible for accurately maintaining and securing the cash drawer, accepting cash and/or checks, accurately making change, and processing credit card transactions.

Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, and in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Address and resolve customer complaints in a friendly manner.

Assist with the completion of daily image maker, and planogram updates, including freight receival, stocking shelves, fronting and facing, cleaning, etc.

Perform various daily operational tasks, i.e., prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns to be shipped to the distribution center, assist with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts, etc.

Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after corresponding training is completed and company requirements are met.

Perform various in-store services for customers (where state and local laws allow) - (i.e.; install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules, etc.)

Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (Driving record must meet the company mandated driving eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate.

All other duties as assigned.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities

Required:

Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences

Ability to provide outstanding, friendly and professional customer service

Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store at the same time

Desired:

Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service

ASE certification

Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Program Summary

Over the course of a 12-month program, with 3 rotations, Leadership Development Program (LDP) Associates will work with the company's Leasing Consultants, Assistant Community Managers, and Community Managers. LDP Associates will learn about sales, customer service, budgeting, pricing, financial forecasting, maintenance, and general management skills necessary to run a multi-million dollar business.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with community teams to answer inquiries and manage resident accounts
  • Show apartments to prospective residents and oversee the customer journey
  • Manage resident relationships and accounts
  • Shadow Community Managers and learn how to manage capital projects, operating plans and financial forecasting, investor and owner reporting, and employee engagement
  • Handle day-to-day office tasks, including answering phones, preparing for tours and move-in's, and any other leasing responsibilities
  • Learn and utilize multiple online platforms and software tools used in leasing and property management

We are looking for someone with a passion for food and strong time management abilities who can provide clients with an exceptional dining experience. Our restaurant is busy, and we need a competent and experienced line cook who can ensure that our meals are made precisely to guest orders while still following our standard recipes consistently. To work a variety of stations on any given shift, our line cook must be adept in poaching, braising, roasting, grilling, sautéing, and frying. You need to be a team player who can effectively communicate with other kitchen staff to keep things running efficiently. Compensation:

$19 - $21 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Recognize and adhere to quality requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products, as well as correct storage and waste management
  • Clean and sanitize all workstations, including counters, utensils, cooking equipment, and the refrigerator, in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Set up cooking stations and fill them with all of the essential preparation items for a shift
  • Cook food orders at stations by following established recipes and presentation standards for grilling, broiling, and sautéing menu items
  • Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude

Qualifications:
  • Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
  • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
  • Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements

We are looking for a friendly, organized Customer Service and Scheduling Coordinator to support our customers, technicians, installers, and office team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys staying busy, communicating with people, and keeping daily schedules organized.

What You'll Do

  • Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently
  • Schedule and coordinate service and installation appointments
  • Communicate schedule changes, delays, and appointment information to customers
  • Coordinate with technicians, installers, field supervisors, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Schedule inspections and outside contractors as needed
  • Create and maintain job files and customer records
  • Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reports
  • Help keep the service calendar organized and routes running efficiently
  • Provide general administrative support to the office team
  • Follow up with customers regarding scheduling or job-related questions
