What to Expect?

The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for selling POOLCORP's value proposition to our customers across all segments including pool builders, service providers, and retailers. The Business Development Representative plays a key role in customer retention, generating revenue, and driving sales growth for POOLCORP.

On a daily basis our Business Development Representative:

  • Develops a strategy to increase sales and profits within the assigned territory for different customer segments including key, opportunity, new, and existing customers.

What You Will Need:

Make a positive difference in America's youth by coaching youth sports after-school programs. No previous coaching experience is required - we train all coaches.

Do you love working with youth, teaching sports and wellness, and helping others improve? As a Youth Sports Coach with ANTS (America's Next Talented Stars), you'll lead weekly after-school sports enrichment classes at one or more of our Oakland school communities. Our Fall after school classes run from September through December 2026 (must be available for the entire season). Time commitment is at least one day per week M-F with two hour-long back to back classes. There is also the potential for Saturday hours through flag football league games.

Sports include flag football, tennis, basketball, soccer, volleyball, pickleball, and more! We provide all necessary training, equipment, and support. Being an ANTS Coach is a great way to learn to coach sports while serving our community. Great coaches will be invited to return for the entire school year and even weekend/summer programs!

Coach Responsibilities

  • Lead a fun & safe weekly sports class for kids ages 5-10
  • Teach the FUNdamentals of sports through a cohesive and game-filled lesson plan. Training provided!

  • Attend an orientation training in person

Locations

Schedule

Weekday classes generally occur between 3 - 6 p.m. on the same day each week for a 10 to 14-week season. You must be available to coach in the afternoon on your program day (at least one day/week). Classes last for 1 to 1.5 hours. Some of our programs offer back-to-back classes for different age groups.If you participate in our third-annual flag football league, you must be available for Saturday game days.

Requirements

  • Transportation: Coaches must have reliable transportation to their coaching sites. You may be required to bring equipment to & from class, so a vehicle is very helpful.
  • Responsible & professional: Arrive on time to each practice and keep accurate attendance. Interact with parents and school staff positively.
  • Communication: Have strong communication skills. You will communicate with ANTS, parents, and site staff through email and phone.
  • Enthusiastic & fun: ANTS coaches are positive role models for our students. We expect that you share our deep beliefs in the larger themes we are promoting: sportsmanship, wellness, and positivity.
  • Patience: Be a patient person who understands young children & their need to develop at their own pace.
  • Experience: Experience as a player or coach (at least two years) is highly valuable, though optional.

The Supervisor Staffing Office oversees the staffing office daily activities, including supervising employees, department planning, staff meetings, shift coverage, payroll and creating/updating staff schedules. Provides leadership in influencing, motivating, managing, training, counseling, and developing staff to work toward their highest level of potential in accordance with job descriptions and competencies. Supervises the training and onboarding of new employees and ensures that staff complete required trainings and evaluations. This includes patient companions, as well as staffing employees. This position manages employee assignments and projects in the staffing office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the hospital's policies and procedures, including its Service Standards and its Code of Conduct.

* Delegates to staff effectively demonstrating the ability to plan, organize, direct, control, monitor and evaluate services and uses available resources, appropriately.
* Supervises staffing office activities, including department plan, staff meetings, shift coverage, payroll and creating/updating schedules (monthly, or as needed), providing constructive feedback, as needed.
* Conducts annual performance evaluations for Patient Companions. Works with Staffing Office Manager to provide performance feedback to staff on an ongoing basis. Initiates disciplinary actions as appropriate.
* Evaluates circumstances using good judgment and sets priorities in decision-making, problem solving and eliciting cooperation.
* Collaborates with Staffing Office Manager on hiring new employees. Interviews, hires, trains, and evaluates all Patient Companions.
* Mentors, coaches, develops direct reports to accomplish goals.
* Provides staff supervision and direction for designated staff. Manages assignments, special projects, pilot programs; other duties as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience

License/Certification: None required.

* Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in the use of computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheet and/or database and ability to quickly learn and become proficient in using staffing and scheduling applications.
* Knowledge of medical terminology.
* Ability to quickly learn the staffing and scheduling system used by the hospital for nursing staff.

Pay Range
Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
Minimum to Midpoint Range (Hourly): $41.48 to $53.93
