Transportation Utility Worker

Provides maintenance service to the transportation system of the Hamilton City School District, keeping all buses operating in a safe and efficient manner; may act as a substitute bus driver for routes or field trips.

Qualifications: Excellent driving skills with a valid CDL with school bus, air brake, and passenger endorsements; knowledge of mechanical tools.

Physical Demands: Regularly lifts parts up to 150 pounds; ability to work in confined spaces for lengthy periods of time; repeated turning/twisting; repeated push/pull on fingers, hands, wrists, shoulders, elbows, and back; climbing up and down on bus hoods and ladders; reaching and working with hands over head; repeated movements to and from the floor/ground; standing and working on concrete.

Washes school buses Assists in starting buses, particularly in cold weather Makes minor repairs to buses, such as replacing seat covers, floors, steps, changing light bulbs, replacing lenses and mirrors, etc. Keeps the work area around fuel pumps clean. May perform snow removal around fuel pumps. Drives a spare bus to stranded vehicles when a breakdown/accident occurs. May assist in making minor field repairs (such as jump-starting a bus) when those are practical. May act as a substitute bus driver on a regular route or field trip. During the summer, is responsible for thorough cleaning, washing and waxing, checkout, and minor repair in order to ready buses for annual state inspection; drives and moves buses during inspection procedure. May drive vehicles to the repair shop as needed Keeps updated reports by vendors and ensures that vendors' maintenance and repair reports are complete. Maintains inventory and garage cleanliness/organization, Keeps an accurate record of sub buses with driver name, bus number, and date. Position Purpose: Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers!

Primary Responsibilities: The Driver, Trainee Non-CDL is an entry level driver training role. Associates in this role will learn and/or gain experience in hauling freight and operating tractor trailers while assisting designated driver trainers with their deliveries and routes. Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Successfully completes Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program as required. Rides-with and assists driver trainer in executing deliveries as required.
  • Performs all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspect tractor/truck and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate action as needed.
  • Report all safety issues and/or repairs required. Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately reports all safety hazards.
  • Inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight. Performs count check of items and check customer invoices of products that have been loaded.
  • Checks and complete in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paperwork associated with freight.
  • Moves tractor to the loading dock and attach preloaded trailer as needed.
  • Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
  • Unloads products from the trailer, transport items into designated customer storage areas.
  • Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contacts supervisor about removing orders according to company policy. Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures.
  • Collects money (cash or checks) where required. Loads customer returns on to trailer and secure trailer doors.
  • Unloads damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Unloads all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required. Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
  • Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 0-6 months driving experience
  • Internal PFG Candidates: 1 year of service in good standing as outlined in the PFG Entry Level Driver Trainee or Dock to Driver Training Program, able to attain CDL Permit and DOT Health Card

Overview of Responsibilities

At Sprouts Farmers Market, the Meat & Seafood Manager is responsible for the sales and operation of the Meat & Seafood Department.

  • Plan, order, and prepare cutting lists. Process meat according to department goals and standards to maximize sales and gross profit.
  • Ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and displays.
  • Engage and evaluate team members through coaching, feedback, and one-on-one development discussions, and make recommendations on merit increases via completing the bi-annual performance review process.
  • Regularly attend and participate at in-store meetings.
  • Recruit, hire and make promotion/transfer decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager.
  • Confidently exercise independent judgment to address Team Member concerns.
  • Take and document corrective actions when needed, including collaboration with business and HR partners in managing performance to include coaching, counseling, progressive discipline, suspension, or termination when needed.
  • Ensure maximum productivity and efficiency by creating and adjusting schedules and staffing levels.
  • Communicate standards, expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge to team members.
  • Lead a team that collaborates to deliver the finest quality of product, highest level of service, and the greatest experience your customers will receive.
  • Serve as a Key Carrier for the store and/or act as a Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed.

Qualifications

To be a Meat Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market qualified candidates must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age, and have a basic knowledge of math, weights and measures. Must have a minimum of 2 year's meat cutting experience in the grocery or restaurant industry including leadership experience.
  • Must be able to perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Must be capable of standing for up to 4 hour continuously, and a total of 8 hours per shift is a must; will walk up to 2 miles per 8 hours.
  • Be able to work inside a temperature controlled area.
  • Possess good vision is required for using sharp knives, band saw, grinder, sausage maker, box cutter, wrapping machine and tenderizer.
  • Be able to lift/carry products horizontally/vertically between 25 to 90 lbs., from 4" to 60", a distance up to 10 feet for 20 hours.
  • Be able to use a pallet jack to move pallets horizontally up to 500 lbs., requiring a force of up to 85 lbs., a distance up to 100 feet for up to 5 hours.
  • Be able to horizontally move racks of products weighing up to 70 lbs., requiring a force up to 25 lbs., for a distance up to 50 feet for up to 10 hours.
  • Be able to move tables weighing up to 70 lbs., requiring a force greater than 35 lbs., a distance up to 2 feet for up to 1 hour.
  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that changes as the business changes, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Possess a working knowledge of personnel reports, margin reports, weekly sales numbers, and financial goals.
  • Have and show outgoing and friendly behavior along with a positive attitude towards Team Members and customers.

Hudson Meridian’s Public Sector Division is seeking a full-time Assistant Project Manager.


This is a perfect opportunity for a recent college graduate or someone with 1-3 years of relevant experience, as we expect our APMs to view their position as one of transition into a growing career path.


Supporting a project’s Project Executive and Project Manager(s), our Assistant Project Managers are responsible for a variety of duties, providing overall administrative and technical management support to the construction team on project sites from bid preparation through final acceptance by Client.


The following is a general list of responsibilities. This is not a comprehensive list and will be changed in accordance with project need and as directed by Management:


  • Drawings & specifications review (contract documents);
  • Drawing take-offs;
  • RFI and Submittal management;
  • Third party testing result monitoring;
  • Subcontractor requisition collecting;
  • Action list preparation;
  • Construction schedule development/maintenance;
  • Preparation of punch lists and other close out processes;
  • Update/maintain potential change order log (generated from RFI responses and ongoing field conditions encountered); and
  • Maintain organized and detailed project records.


OSHA 30 preferred, additional OSHA training and / or CMIT certification are welcome.
