Accenture Construct - Data Center Construction Energy Marshal, ANS
Accenture Construct
Elk, IN

Job Description

Job Description

You've Never Been Satisfied with "Good Enough."

You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built.

At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably.

You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land.

Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next.

Visit us here to learn more about Accenture Construct
As Accenture continues to grow, you may see a variety of new career opportunities, and depending on the role and location you may be directed to apply through Accenture LLP or one of our other legal entities - Accenture Construct LLC or Accenture Construct Inc., with benefits varying by country and role, so please check with your recruiter for details.
THE WORK:
  • You'll implement the Energy Isolation Program using SPS-101 standards and guidebooks as the foundational framework.
  • You'll establish and manage an Energy Isolation assurance process, addressing gaps identified during audits.
  • You'll participate in High-Risk Activity planning meetings related to energy isolation procedures.
  • You'll ensure the approval process for proposed Energy Isolation procedures is properly implemented.
  • You'll collaborate with the Authorizing Energy Marshal to develop and manage the Energy Isolation Permit process.
  • You'll review Statements of Work, Methods of Procedure, and Scripts to identify all energy sources.
  • You'll determine the need for group or individual LOTO and help establish a centralized LOTO system across site entities.
  • You'll verify personnel qualifications, training, and PPE compliance for those performing energy isolation tasks.
  • You'll delegate qualified alternates to assume responsibilities during multi-shift or peak energization periods.
  • You'll ensure alignment with SPS-101 guidelines and maintain communication with site teams to support safe energy isolation practices.
  • On-site at client site: The work location for this role is onsite with our clients and partners to enable delivery and cultivate our client relationships.
  • With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
  • Minimum of 8 years of Experience in DC construction and commissioning standards and practices
BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE:
  • Project Management Experience
  • Familiarity with multiple sources of energy in data centers, with emphasis placed on electrical
  • Team player skills with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
  • Proven ability to interact with teams and implement improvements
  • Good ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions and concepts to engineers and non-engineers
  • Ability to audit site practices against written standards as part of an assurance role
  • Strong ability to interpret line drawings and system redundancies to ensure the design of LOTO systems is 100% effective

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU

  • The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list.
  • You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands.
  • AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it.
  • Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name.
  • Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support.
  • Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point.
  • Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026.

ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT

  • The data centers behind AI. The grid behind the energy transition. The rail, water and airports everything else runs on.
