Service Technician Position

A Service Technician must be able to work with minimal supervision and be available to work a diverse range of hours. Service Technicians must be able to read blue prints, legend symbols, one-line diagrams and be able to both diagnose and repair all types of electrical issues. The Service Technician will assist the Lead Technician or Service Division Manager in coordinating all aspects of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance across the company's service divisions including: Agricultural, Industrial, and Commercial.

Essential Functions include but are not limited to:

  • Perform skilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Complete daily processes including closing out work orders and ensuring time tracking is accurate.
  • Maintain job schedules set forth by the contractor or customer to meet all deadlines.
  • Ensure vehicle is kept clean and fully stocked with approved inventory.
  • Keep work area and tools clean.
  • Ensure that material is ordered promptly and efficiently to keep the job progress running smoothly.
  • Consistently portray a positive attitude with customers as a representative of Magic Valley Electric.
  • Comply with all facility standards and guidelines.
  • Complete projects within established timeframes and budgets.

Competencies:

  • Must be able to interpret and follow the National Electric Code and comply with state and local building codes.
  • Must have all tools outlined in the Tool List provided at the time of hire.
  • Must be capable of following and giving instruction, have good communication skills, and ability to retain information.
  • Must be capable of reading A-Sheets, reflective ceiling, and detail drawings for layouts.
  • Must be capable of installing raceways, PVC, EMT, Rigid, Flex, IMC, and MC up to 1 " hand bend.
  • Must be capable of terminating multiple circuits with multiple grounded conductors and trim out devices.
  • Must be able to install and terminate service entrance sections, distribution centers, panel boards, transformers, disconnects, and motor controls.
  • Must be capable of reading and understanding lighting controls and special systems, including fire alarm and security.
  • Must be familiar with hydraulic benders.
  • Must complete required safety trainings.
  • Must complete OSHA 10.

  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, kneel, balance, push, pull, and reach overhead.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary The Phlebotomist, under general supervision, draws blood for tests, transfusions, donations, or research that is utilized in the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of physical conditions.     • Drive standardization and automation of HR processes to improve efficiency and scale.
    • Manage HR metrics and analytics to measure effectiveness and inform executive decision-making.
    • Oversee compliance with employment laws and regulations, including ERISA-related requirements, where applicable.
    • Ensure integration and alignment of HR programs following mergers or acquisitions.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5-7+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 2 years at a leadership or similar level.
  • Proven success leading HR during rapid M&A growth and post-merger integrations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in a decentralized, multi-entity environment.
  • Strong change management, leadership coaching, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a private equitybacked company, ideally with a services-based or regulated business is preferred.

Pay Transparency Statement

The anticipated pay range for this position is $90,000-$110,000 annually. We are currently hiring Line Operators to fill multiple positions throughout our manufacturing facility. This role involves working at various stations along the production line, and employees will be cross-trained in all line functions. No previous experience is required.
This is not a CNC Machine Operator or traditional assembly line position. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Work at various production stations throughout the manufacturing line.
  • Perform stack and strap duties and quality control inspections during initial training.
  • Learn all production line functions through cross-training.
  • Operate a sit-down forklift after completing company-provided certification.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain attention to detail while performing multiple tasks.

Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire 12-hour shift, except during scheduled breaks.
  • Must be willing to work either day or night shift based on business needs.

Production Operations

  • Bring unassembled cartons from staging area to taping station for your assigned lines.
  • Assemble cartons and tape them per the packing instructions for the item that is running on your assigned lines.
  • Make only enough cartons to be used on 30 minutes or 1 hour worth of production to eliminate congestion and safety risks.
  • Place preassembled empty cartons (with unopened liners) on each line where Packer-Trimmer-Inspectors can have easy access to them. Keep cartons neat and orderly.
  • Close up and tape shut (or bundle up) full boxes as soon as possible after a Inspector Packer- has completed packing them.
  • Make sure liner(s) are properly folded or tied per instruction to prevent dust
  • contamination of the finished goods.
  • Mark label and carton neatly with correct carton number and any other special coding information.
  • Place finished cartons on pallet or slip sheet as required by instructions. Cartons are to be numbered and stacked in the order they were produced, labels always facing out. Always stack cartons in straight and neat rows.
  • Apply correct banding or stretch wrap to stacked cartons per shipping specifications.
  • The Production Supervisor will assign each Utility Person an area(s) that he/she is responsible for keeping clean, neat, and orderly. If this area is not clean, neat, and orderly at the beginning of the shift, point this out to the Packaging Supervisor after the end of the previous shift.
  • Keep the area around your workstation clean and free from dirt and debris; this may include cleaning assigned areas of the building or pieces of equipment as instructed by your supervisor.
