Job Summary

This position works with popular local attractions such as malls or theme parks and attends events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public as a brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations. The Manufacturing Associate Assembly 1 is an entry-level production position responsible for the assembly, preparation, and inspection of cable assemblies and related electronic manufacturing products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role performs routine production tasks following established work instructions, drawings, and quality standards while developing foundational manufacturing and assembly skills.

The Manufacturing Associate Assembly 1 is expected to learn basic cable assembly processes, proper tool usage, manufacturing documentation, and quality requirements while supporting production schedules and company objectives. This position works under direct supervision and receives on-the-job training based on assigned manufacturing areas and products.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Including but not limited to:

  • Perform entry-level cable assembly and related manufacturing operations in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards. 
  • Assemble cables, harnesses, and related products using hand tools, fixtures, and assigned equipment. 
  • Follow manufacturing drawings, visual aids, work instructions, travelers, and other production documentation. 
  • Learn and apply basic blueprint and drawing interpretation skills. 
  • Perform basic measuring, counting, labeling, and inspection activities as required. 
  • Maintain accurate production reporting within company manufacturing software systems. 
  • Support production schedules and department production goals. 
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of assigned work areas and equipment. 
  • Properly use assigned tools, equipment, and personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus. 


PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is conducted primarily in a warehouse and production environment and involves frequent movement, including walking, standing, lifting, and handling materials.
