Summary:

Requirements:

What You’ll Do:

Picking

  • Using forklift equipment, accurately pick items from designated warehouse bin locations based on pick-label information.
  • Use RF scan guns for items, locations, and other picking-critical details.
  • Verify the correct item, quantity, condition, and packaging against pick label.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damages, or missing stock to the warehouse supervisor when discovered.

Loading & Unloading

  • Unload inbound deliveries from small parcels to full truckloads, and position product in the correct areas safely and efficiently.
  • Load shipments (LTL, FTL, and parcel) verifying count, labeling, and shipment details.
  • Build, organize, and/or wrap pallets for shipment.
  • Verify pallet and piece counts, inspect deliveries for damage and report to floor supervisor. 
  • Collect delivery documentation and provide to operation for processing.

Parcel

  • Check that material picked matches order information in the computer system.
  • Package parcel shipment orders, box and pack to protect against damage. 
  • Measure parcel size, shape, and weight and record package details into the automated system to process.
  • Add shipping labels, print and include packing lists where documentation is required for accounting and customer records, adding relevant shipping notes to orders when needed.

Special Shipments 

  • Receive oversized pallet shipments and assist in checking material into inventory.
  • Handle and package sheet and trim material into boxes and cardboard tubes without damage.
  • Pick and palatalize oversized material for order delivery as needed.
  • As needed serve as a 'spotter' for material handling of large special size materials, and assist with other loading/unloading as needed.

Across the Operation

  • Uphold Jaeckle’s core values.
  • Maintain a safe and clear workspace, empty garbage and dispose of packing materials.
  • Communicate professionally with all Jaeckle personnel, service providers, and customers.
  • Support Pick-Up (will-call) activities by picking orders, loading customers, and ensuring customer completes paperwork.
  • Reliable attendance (mandatory), 40 hours per week. 
  • Overtime opportunities will be made available throughout the year.

As the Customer Service Representative, we need someone ready to provide a variety of support, such as servicing walk-in customers, answering customer inquiries, providing samples, and completing sales transactions.

Primary Objective:
To ensure effective and efficient coordination between the Company and its customers with a high level of service and support.

Primary Function and Scope:
  • Provides customer account management which may include, but is not limited to, order entry, order inquiry, product information, order status, pricing, stock check and transportation management.
  • Responsible for keying in orders, processing faxes and preparation of reports.
  • Interfaces with various groups including, but not limited to, internal teams and SSCs, to address customer inquiries and order issues from order entry to order delivery.
  • Participates in special projects and performs additional duties as required.
  • Maintain the showroom by performing maintenance such as restocking, cleaning, etc. 
  • Maintain showroom samples and merchandising including ordering, receiving, and maintaining samples and displays. 

Experience and Knowledge Required:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
  • 3+ years call center or customer service experience. Focus on customer account management preferred. Prior textile industry knowledge is preferred.

Competencies:
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organization are required. Good voice quality that is conversational and professional. Ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions, policies, guidelines, and processing standards. Ability to demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills is required. Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal relationship-building skills. Must have a moderate level of computer skills in Word and Excel. Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, manage priorities, and manage time effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Other Pertinent Job Information:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may sit, climb, balance, talk, or hear. The associate must have the ability to regularly lift up to 15-30 lbs and at certain times, you may be required to safely lift up to 70 lbs. Essential Job Responsibilities

Leads are prequalified and provided by the company. Attend ongoing, advanced sales and career training.  

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Effectively present and deliver sales presentation in accordance with all company policies, compliance standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining minimum performance goals (80% time)
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on sales information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually. (20%)

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required. Must maintain production standards.

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Training requirements

  • Initial Paid Training, covering our sales process, product knowledge, and the psychology of the sale.

Knowledge and skills

  • Needs to be able to overcome objections and perform within a short, luxury sales cycle. Must be energetic, outgoing and tenacious.

Technical Skills

  • General smart device skills

Job experience

  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required
