Job Duties

Home Health Aide

As a Home Health Aide, reporting to the Associate Director, Branch Administration at CenterWell Home Health, you'll help patients regain strength, mobility and independenceall from the comfort of their homes. By delivering personalized care that focuses on rehabilitation and functional improvement, you'll empower individuals to overcome physical limitations, perform everyday activities with confidence and enjoy a better quality of life.

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you will:

  • Provide direct patient care to patient under the direction of the RN and according to the Aide Plan of Care (POC).
  • Assist the patient with self-administered medications by opening bottle caps for the patient, reading medication labels to the patient, checking the dose being self-administered against the prescribed dose on the container label and observing the patient takes the medication.
  • Take accurate temperature, pulse and blood pressure measurements and recognize and report abnormal results to supervisor.
  • Help patient maintain good personal hygiene by performing or supervising bathing, grooming, skin care, shaving, oral care, nail/foot care and other activities.
  • Assist in feeding patients and communicate basic principles of nutrition, observe and record food and fluid intake. Safely position patient for meals and feed or support self-feeding.
  • Assist with patient toileting including use of bed pan/urinal, change and position catheter bags and bag change procedures on well-regulated ostomies.
  • Provide necessary skills to safely assist the patient with patient mobility, exercises, positioning/turning, transfers and ambulation per Plan of Care and CenterWell Home Health policy.
  • Report changes and document pertinent information and care rendered to patient to ensure continuity of care. Document interactions with patients, caregivers, doctors and other staff members appropriately, legibly, thoroughly and in the amount of time allowed.
  • Practice acceptable infection control principles. Provide a clean, safe and comfortable environment.
  • Help with other household tasks, including light laundry, bed changing and bed making, light meal preparation, light housekeeping and shopping (if no other assistance is available and an MD order is present).

Required Qualifications:

  • Complete Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide Program within the last 24 months
  • Must meet applicable state certification requirements
  • A valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation are required
  • Must be in good standing on the HHA Registry (if applicable) and have completed HHA/CNA course to work for a Medicare certified agency.
  • Minimum one year experience in the last 24 months as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health/hospice agency.

Site Leader

The Site Leader will provide world class jobsite leadership for large, long-duration, high-profile projects for Vertiv power and/or thermal equipment. The Site Leader is the primary Vertiv Service on-site technical representative for large jobs, from construction start, through start-up, site acceptance testing, and project completion. The Site Leader is required to establish, grow and maintain excellent rapport with all customers, co-workers, sales representatives and others as appropriate. Duties & Responsibilities:

Role Summary

  • Provide jobsite construction and technical leadership for large projects
  • Working knowledge of critical infrastructure equipment in data centers, including Vertiv-manufactured equipment
  • Leads a multi-disciplinary on-site team consisting of Project Leaders, Installers, Technicians, Customer Engineers, and subcontractors
  • Represents Vertiv at daily customer meetings and can speak to technical requirements for the day's schedule to coordinate activity with other parties on-site
  • Leads and supports start-up and site testing activities for assigned projects

Technical Responsibilities

  • Keeps current on Vertiv equipment start-up and commissioning processes, procedures, and tools-of-the-trade
    • Keeps current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips

Safety Responsibilities

  • Leads daily Vertiv toolbox talk, pre-job safety walk and inspection, and drives any necessary corrective/preventative actions required in a timely fashion
    • Responsible for the adherence and administration of all site and Vertiv Safety policies on job sites
    • Operates in a safe manner in accordance with published safety guidelines
    • Must wear appropriate PPE as per company guidelines and accordance with job duties
    • Adhere to work hours policy guidelines "14 hours rule"
    • Report all work related accidents or injuries within 24 hours to the appropriate personnel

Housing Quality Standard (HQS) Inspections Manager

The Housing Quality Standard (HQS) Inspections Manager is responsible for the supervision of the SMOC Rental Assistance Inspections department including staff management, overseeing operations of all inspection-related procedures, and managing regulations in accordance with Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) guidance. The Manager is also expected to conduct inspections, provide training and mentoring to new staff, oversee and ensure smooth workflow, and perform administrative duties as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day supervision of the HQS Inspectors and HQS Coordinator.
  • Oversee scheduling and completion of thorough HQS inspections of new units, existing units, and reinspection of those units.
  • Assist the Rental Assistance Director of Federal Programs in development and implementation of new programmatic practices and forms for streamlining, processing, and uniformity.
  • Monitor various types of inspections by conducting audit inspections.
  • Verify unit compliance based on health and safety requirements.
  • Conduct trainings for new staff and ongoing trainings for existing staff in relation to HQS/EOHLC regulations.
  • Manage the responsibilities of the HQS Inspections Coordinator and enter all Inspection data as necessary into the YARDI Software System module.
  • Maintain all necessary compliance rules related to Lead Paint Letters of Compliance by evaluating all LOC documents to verify their authenticity.
  • Manage and maintain a process to ensure that all property owners/landlords comply with Inspection related rules and regulations.
  • Assist staff with escalated issues or complaints.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including EOHLC, landlords, tenants, RAP Billing, Program Reps, RAFT, and other programs.
  • Engage all clients by understanding and addressing their needs whether within or outside the scope of work.
  • Attend & participate in engagement team meetings as requested and communicate effectively with clients and staff in other areas.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, employee and agency information in accordance with federal and state laws and funder requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with program/department, agency and/or funder requirements, as well as SMOC policies & procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of housing program experience, 1-2 years managing staff preferred.
  • Knowledge of Excel, Windows, Word and PC's.
  • Ability to work well in a very high volume and productivity environment.
  • Ability to handle potentially stressful situations and sensitivity to the needs of economically disadvantaged clientele.
  • Valid Mass. Driver's License and insurance.
  • Nan McKay HQS Certification required.
  • Future HQS Certifications as required.

Working Conditions: This job requires working in many different conditions and places. There can be a significant amount of time required to be on the road and inspecting units. Therefore, conditions range from an office environment to an outdoor environment that can be dirty, wet, hot, cold, difficult, and risky. As part of the responsibilities of this position, Inspections Manager will have direct or incidental contact with clients served by SMOC in various programs funded or administered through the Executive Office of Health and Human Services. A successful background check is required.
