Software Development Engineer II Full Stack - Business (Remote @ Mexico or Colombia)
Cacheflow
bellevue, wa
Compensation: 1.547.000 - 2.579.000

About the role:

The OfferUp Business team owns the platforms that power every business vertical on our marketplace; Storefronts, Auto Dealers, Services, Rentals, and Jobs. Our customers aren't casually browsing; they're running businesses on top of what we build, so every feature we ship has a direct, measurable impact on their livelihood and on OfferUp's revenue. We operate the full stack end-to-end: including microservices that handle some of the highest RPS and TPS in the company, and integrations with partners like Stripe and Shopify. We move fast, instrument everything, and treat experimentation as a first-class part of the workflow. We've barely scratched the surface of what these verticals can become, and the roadmap is wide open for someone who wants to help shape it.

At many organizations, your role begins and ends with the code. On our team, we’re different. You own a feature from concept to fruition. Your responsibilities will include everything from writing well architected and thoroughly tested code, to rolling out the feature by analyzing metrics. You also get to take ownership beyond your technical area by working with cross-functional team members.

As a Full Stack Software Engineer II on the Business team, you'll be a proven contributor who ships features end-to-end across the stack. From the React components our business customers interact with, to the Java services and data pipelines behind them. You'll take real ownership of the work you deliver, raise the quality of the code around you, and grow into a high-performing, reliable contributor on the team.

Here’s more of what you will get to do:

  • Design, build, and deploy new user experiences and backend services across our five business verticals, using React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Node.js, and Java
  • Own features end-to-end: plan, design, develop, deploy, measure, and iterate
  • Break down complex engineering problems into achievable tasks and deliver them within committed timeframes
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product, Design, Data, Business stakeholders) to design and implement new features
  • Contribute to A/B tests and use experimentation results to decide what ships
  • Actively participate in code reviews and enforce good patterns, testing, and edge-case handling
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, new hires, and interns
  • Create shared components, utilities, and services that improve team velocity across the stack
  • Maintain and improve the runbooks, alerting, and monitoring for the features you ship
  • Participate in a reasonable on-call rotation with the rest of the team
  • Use AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and similar) to increase your daily development velocity and code quality
  • Become a subject matter expert in one or more of the team's sub-domains

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated ability to own the delivery of multiple features end-to-end (plan, design, develop, and deploy) with high efficiency, including breaking down engineering problems into achievable tasks
  • Strong coding skills across the full stack:
    • React, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern web tooling; good grasp of responsive design, performance, and cross-browser compatibility
    • Java and a working understanding of microservices and distributed-systems fundamentals
  • Experience building and integrating with REST or GraphQL APIs
  • Good knowledge of data structures and object-oriented design
  • Hands-on experience using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or similar) in a real engineering workflow, and a point of view on when they help and when they don't
  • Follows good coding patterns, writes appropriate tests, considers trade-offs, and actively seeks out edge cases
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in code reviews
  • A bias toward shipping, learning from production, and iterating quickly
  • An insatiable desire and ability to learn
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience

Helpful, but not required:

  • Fluency in any other modern OOO programming language
  • Experience with Agile development
  • Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure
  • Experience around any of the following: web package managers, Bower, bundler system, NodeJS, Python, webpack
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (Statsig, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely) and analytics warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake)
  • Experience consuming or integrating LLM-based APIs (e.g., Bedrock, Vertex AI, OpenAI)
  • Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines

Senior Director, Developer Experience
Equinix, Inc.
dallas, tx
Compensation: 224.000 - 336.000

Who are we?

Equinix is the world’s digital infrastructure company®, shortening the path to connectivity to enable the innovations that enrich our work, life and planet.

A place where tech thinkers and future builders turn bold ideas into breakthrough experiences, we welcome your unique perspective.Help us challenge assumptions, uncover bias, and remove barriers—because progress starts with fresh ideas. You’ll find belonging, purpose, and a team that welcomes you—because when you feel valued, you’re empowered to do your best work.

Job Summary

Equinix | Build Bolder

Build the platform that makes every Equinix engineer faster and turn that velocity into enterprise value.

Why this role, right now

Equinix is scaling under Build Bolder, with a stated ambition to add $100M in enterprise value by 2030. That growth runs on software, and software runs at the speed of its developers.

This is a replacement role charter: own the developer platform, the IDE, the copilots, and the developer's voice.

Responsibilities

What you'll own

  • Developer Platform — the paved road: scalable, secure, performant foundations every engineering team builds on
  • IDE & AI Copilots — modern IDE integrations and AI-assisted coding that change what a day of engineering feels like
  • Dev Environments — instant, reproducible environments that erase setup friction and shorten every loop
  • Voice of the Developer — the listening system: gather, analyze, and act on what engineers actually need
  • Quality Engineering CoE - the standards, tooling, and culture that make quality a first-class citizen across engineering. This includes: canonical test automation frameworks teams can adopt without reinventing; stable, on-demand test environments that don't become the bottleneck before every release; test data management practices that make realistic, safe data accessible at every layer; end-to-end and integration test coverage standards with visibility into gaps across the portfolio; shiftleft practices that move quality decisions earlier in the SDLC -- into design and PR, not just pre-prod; and AI-assisted testing capabilities that reduce the human cost of coverage. This is a CoE model: you set the bar, build the tooling, and raise the floor -- delivery teams own their own quality outcomes

Your first 18 months

  • 0–90 days — Meet the engineers. Identify the highest-friction points in developer onboarding, environments, and tooling. Ship visible improvements. Shape platform strategy from what you learn in motion, not from a standing start
  • 6 months — Developers are actively using our platform, with adoption you can point to. Listening mechanisms are live and informing the backlog. The Quality Engineering team has a founding framework: one canonical test automation stack, environments that don't block releases, and a shift-left standard teams are adopting
  • 12–18 months — The paved road is real and most teams are on it by choice: standardized environments, test frameworks, and copilot integrations that feel like the obvious default, not a mandate. Developer velocity and satisfaction are measurable and moving. Quality gaps across the portfolio are visible, tracked, and shrinking. The platform is a competitive advantage you can tell a story about

What's in it for you

  • Scale that's rare — global, matrixed, mission‑critical infrastructure; your tools touch every engineer, every day
  • A start‑up charter — an intrapreneurial mandate inside a company with the balance sheet to back bold bets
  • AI at the center — copilots and AI‑assisted development are core to the role, not a side experiment
  • Measurable legacy — velocity and satisfaction gains that ladder straight into the Build Bolder value story

Qualifications

What you bring

  • 15+ years in software engineering, including 5+ leading engineering teams
  • Proven track record building developer platforms, tools, or frameworks at scale
  • Deep fluency in modern IDEs, cloud dev environments, and AI‑assisted development
  • Strong systems thinking across backend and infrastructure layers of tooling
  • A transformational leader who drives change through influence, across cultures
  • Genuine empathy for the daily friction engineers face — and the drive to remove it
  • Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience

Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure
Probook
manhattan, ks
Compensation: 200.000 - 300.000

Who we are

Probook is the AI operating system for home services. We started with dispatch, the decision that determines how a $750B industry makes its money, and have since built across the rest of the front office. Our customers do $10M to $100M a year in revenue and run their operations on us.

Dispatch was the first step. The harder problems are ahead of us.

Our team: 2x IMO medalists, 3x ICPC World Finalists and coaches, a Columbia professor, former founders, MIT, Waterloo, GT, and engineers from Citadel Securities, Stripe, Palantir, Two Sigma, and Meta.

What we want you to own

  • Product infrastructure. Build and operate the infrastructure behind our real-time decision systems — durable execution, workflow orchestration, reliability, and performance for products customers run their business on.

  • Agent infrastructure. Build the sandboxes, evaluation infrastructure, and harnesses our engineers use to develop and ship agent workflows, including the compute environments agents execute in.

  • The developer platform. CI/CD, deployment, local development, and internal tooling — the abstractions that let the team ship in days rather than quarters.

  • Reliability and observability. Instrumentation, monitoring, incident response, and debugging tooling for systems whose failure modes are often probabilistic rather than deterministic.

  • Cost and scale. Cloud and inference costs as the product footprint grows, and capacity and architecture decisions made before they become bottlenecks.

  • Partner across engineering. Work directly with the product engineers building on your infrastructure, and with the customers affected by it.

Who this is for

  • 3–6 years of engineering experience with meaningful ownership of infrastructure you built rather than inherited.

  • Zero-to-one experience. You've built infrastructure from scratch at a startup, or stood up new systems on a team inside a larger company.

  • Strong infrastructure fundamentals across distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, networking, CI/CD, and observability.

  • Real software engineering. Infrastructure at Probook means writing code and owning complex systems end to end, from design through production.

  • Breadth over depth. You'd rather build new systems than operate mature ones, and you move up the stack when that's where the problem is.

  • Judgment. You know when a system deserves careful architecture and when it deserves to be finished this week.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Equity: Meaningful early-stage equity

  • Salary: $200K – $300K

  • Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision

  • Perks: $500 monthly Ramp card for commuting, meals, gym, etc. (plus $25 in nightly meal delivery credit) and really good office snacks

  • Access: Direct access to world-class investors and advisors
