Position Summary

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct rehab care in speech therapy to patients upon physician referral in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited program in speech therapy (minimum MS or MA SLP)
  • ASHA certified (CCCs) OR must be eligible for 9 month Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) in order to earn ASHA certification (CCCs) and/or meeting ASHA credentialing criteria. Once achieved, must maintain ASHA credentialing.
  • Currently registered/licensed in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • One (1) year experience preferred; new grads welcome to apply
  • CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

Specific Job Requirements

  • Participates in community health matters/projects as appropriate
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
  • Liaisons with patients, families, support departments, etc., to adequately plan for patient needs
  • Demonstrate good body mechanics at all times
  • Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
  • Implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department

Primary Duties:

Position Summary

The Nursing Home Administrator provides leadership and direction for overall facility operations to provide quality patient care in accordance with all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Your duties will including overseeing key areas including financial operations, human resources, customer service, business development, and clinical operations. Implements policies pertaining to patient care, caregiving, and support staff, financial control, public relations, and maintenance of physical plant through consultation with the facility management team. Manages budget to meet facility needs and division goals in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements

  • Have a minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Be currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in applicable State. Must maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
  • Three (3) or more years' successful post acute care experience preferred
  • Certification with American College preferred (ACHCA)

Specific Job Requirements

  • Be able to read and interpret financial records and reports
  • Possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action
  • Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post acute care facility
  • Have the ability to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the department
  • Perform proficiently in all competency areas including but not limited to: patient rights, and safety and sanitation
  • Maintains professional working relationships with all associates, vendors, etc.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information
  • Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures
  • Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training

Essential Functions

  • Ensure facility is compliant with all Federal, State, local, and JCAHO requirements as well as serve as the facility's Compliance Liaison
  • Ensure facility is clean and safe for the comfort, convenience and safety of patients, families, and staff
  • Serve as effective representative for company so facility is viewed as provider of choice in that community
  • Ensure census goals are met
  • Prepare and operate within annual budget (approved by RVP and DVP)
  • Effectively supervise team
  • Must exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients

Job title: Graphics Prepress Specialist

The Graphics Prepress Specialist  focuses on ensuring the accurate construction and processing of all artwork files for various printing methods, including lithography, flexography, gravure, and digital label printing. Expertise in printing processes is paramount for this role, as the candidate adeptly configures jobs to meet customer specifications, ensuring swift turnaround times without compromising quality. The primary emphasis of this position lies in the technical aspects of preparing files for printing, showcasing proficiency in optimizing files for flawless execution on the chosen printing platform. It's important to note that this is not a design position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Execute electronic art separations to customer-supplied artwork following internal job tickets while adhering to printer specifications for all print types and materials. This includes, but is not limited to application of traps, overprints, pullbacks, and positive or reverse line requirements, etc.
  • Outputs electronic proofs & hard color proofs.
  • Convert approved proof files to final stepped files for plate output.
  • inspect finished files, including the completion of QA checklist.
  • Interacts with customer representatives or other teammates concerning job specifications or special requirements.
  • Manage multiple jobs in various production stages.
  • Operate Macintosh workstations utilizing company ERP, Graphics Systems, and strong knowledge of manufacturing operations.
  • Assist with external communication and file transfers.
  • Complete required documentation in an accurate and prompt manner.

 

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Interact directly with customers or graphics separators for queries, feedback on specifications, etc.
  • Participate in researching and developing new technology.
  • Perform routine maintenance and manage computers and equipment.
  • Comply with established facility safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable.
  • Adheres to MCC company code of ethics.
  • Participate in continuous improvement / Kaizen teams.
  • Attends department meetings and internal training classes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications: 

  • Associate degree or 2 years of equivalent combination of education and experience in Graphics Reproduction, Customer Service, or related fields.
  • Advanced computer skills are essential, including proficiency with business operating systems, prepress/preflight software, internet applications, as well as word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Experience with Hybrid, Esko, GMG or HP Indigo software a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology including new/upgraded software and hardware.
  • Understanding color theory and color separation.
  • Specific vision abilities required including color perception, depth, and focus adjustment.
  • Must be detail oriented, well organized, and take pride in delivering quality work.
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into actionable tasks.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work with minimal supervision.
  • This position may require sporadic travel as necessary.

Job title: Graphics Project Coordinator

The Graphics Project Coordinator ensures customer product specifications and item details are translated accurately into MCC’s ERP and Prepress Management platform.  Strategically collaborates with internal and external customers to optimize customer-facing interactions and operational efficiencies. Provides critical analysis, feedback, and action to drive positive change and results.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains graphic project coordination from inception to implementation. 
  • New Business Onboarding -cohesively works with all internal teams and external customers to ensure new business is established in ERP correctly. 
  • Collaborates with internal and external customers to ensure item specifications are clearly defined, able to be re-produced, and translated into the ERP system. 
  • Creates, maintains and links required graphic project data and processes to ERP system. 
  • Effectively utilizes ERP and graphics platform for prepress job entry. 
  • Effectively utilizes graphics software for prepress job tracking 
  • Manages assigned workload in accordance with standard work expectations of quality, service, and productivity 
  • Essential resource for internal and external pre-pro calls 
  • Plant liaison for item master questions and/or issues 
  • Ensures proper POs are obtained for prepress, tracks jobs progress, and ensure it is turned in for billing (as required). 
  • Demonstrates participation and input through Lean Manufacturing methods (SQDC). 
  • Work as part of a team that strategically collaborates to fulfill internal and external customer requirements. 
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in Customer Service and/or Graphics Reproduction; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.  Ability to determine root cause of problem and determine corrective action 
  • Strong skills in math, data entry, and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy are required. 
  • Ability to read, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group. 
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office tools required. 
  • Individual must also work independently and is occasionally expected to cooperate with co-workers in creating smooth flow. 
  • This position requires the associate to stand or sit for prolonged periods or may be required to lift and/ or move up to 25 lbs.  
  • Limited travel within North America.
