Candidates must be credentialed to practice law in the State of New York or one with a reciprocity arrangement.


This is a Hybrid role. You will be required to be in our NYC office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.


OVERVIEW

Responsible for ensuring global employee relations practices within the organization. This individual keeps abreast of employment laws & recommends changes to existing employment policies to make certain the organization remains compliant.

In addition, this individual directs the organization’s diversity, employee reward & recognition & Environmental, Health & Safety programs. Participates in special projects as needed.


GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaison and counsel to Senior Management team on Human Resources and other business matters
  • Develops, implements and advises on disciplinary matters across all departments
  • Partners with HR staff of applicable International Operating Companies to ensure consistent employee relations policies throughout global operations.
  • Directs employee communication strategy through oversight of distribution of employee newsletter & other HR communications
  • Serves as Injury and Illness Prevention Program Administrator and participates on global EHS council
  • Researches best practices in employee recognition and suggests enhancements to existing recognition programs and monitors and reports effectiveness of programs on employee retention

  • Represents Company’s response to charges of discrimination and identifies trends in workplace issues and recommends civil rights/EEO related charges
  • Conducts audits of areas with a high number of employee relations incidents

  • Reviews Exit Interview Forms and analyze data for retention recommendations

Position Summary

The VP, Investment and Enterprise Operations will provide strategic leadership and executive accountability for Prismic Life's production operating model across investment and enterprise operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director, Enterprise Program to convert approved enterprise priorities into executable operating plans and to surface delivery risks, dependencies, and decisions for executive consideration · Build the operating cadence, team structure, procedures, and performance measures required to sustain the function as Prismic Life grows.
  • Advise the Group Chief Operating Officer and senior leadership on operational capacity, scalability, risk, investment priorities, and required trade-offs.
  • Provide management, Board, regulator, and auditor support on the operating model, key controls, service-provider oversight, incidents, and remediation progress, and represent the function in senior governance and decision-making forums.


Qualifications

  • At least 10+ years of progressive experience in insurance, reinsurance, investment operations, asset management operations, or a comparable financial-services environment
  • Demonstrated leadership across investment operations, data, technology-enabled change, controls, and third-party service providers, with a record of delivering measurable operational and organizational outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of the operating requirements supporting public and private assets, derivatives, alternatives, and insurance or reinsurance liabilities.
  • Experience designing and implementing target operating models, service frameworks, controls, and governance in a growing or changing organization, including leading significant operational transformation.
  • Experience advising executive leadership and presenting complex operational, risk, or transformation matters to senior governance bodies, Boards, regulators, or auditors.

  • Proficient understanding of commercial leases, particularly NNN (Triple Net) leases, along with operating budgets, CAM calculations, and capital expenditures.

Coordinate with third-party tax providers for clients and the business as needed

Participate in team meetings, particularly those involving the ongoing development and support of the Tax Planning Team

Assist advisors in reviewing plan data to ensure ongoing compliance and testing adherence

Perform other duties as assigned by management

Help serve our community through firm-planned initiatives, as required of all Jumet Financial employees

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a willingness to continue education toward certifications and/oradvanced degrees in taxation, such as Enrolled Agent and/or CPA, as required by the firm

Strong passion for working and succeeding in the financial industry

Familiarity with ProConnect or similar tax software

Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and manage a flexible schedule.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
