Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) is recruiting apediatric clinical geneticist to join our comprehensive team in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Position Details:

  • Primary focus on general pediatric genetics with opportunity for limited metabolic consult cross-coverage (with metabolic geneticist backup available)
  • Collaborative coverage model supported by subspecialty expertise within the team
  • Collegial and cohesive Genetics team including 2 Pediatric Geneticists (including 1 Metabolic Geneticist), 3 Certified Genetic Counselors, and 1 Registered Clinical Pediatric Dietitian (Metabolic)
  • Strong emphasis on interdisciplinary collaboration and shared care planning
  • In addition to providing clinical care, participation in research will be strongly encouraged.

THE POSITION

The RDA seeks a visionary, results-driven leader to serve as its CEO/President. Key Responsibilities

  • Organizational Leadership :
    • Develop and implement strategic goals that align with the RDA’s mission.
    • Act as the primary spokesperson for the RDA and the lead advocate to develop and implement the community’s economic vision.

  • Economic Development :
    • Be the primary representative with the Kansas Department of Commerce, Site Selectors, and businesses considering our area to relocate to or for expansion of existing business.

    • Oversee the development and implementation of local policies, such as tax abatements and performance-based incentives, in coordination with city and county governments.
  • Community and Business Engagement :
    • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials (City, County, and State), utility providers, educational institutions, local businesses, and the corporate offices of businesses located in Emporia and Lyon County.
    • Leverage Board resources, skills, and capabilities through committee work, involvement in economic development opportunities, and furthering the RDA’s mission, goals, and objectives.
    • Represent RDA at state, regional, and national events, including economic development conferences and industry gatherings, legislative hearings, and other relevant opportunities to promote the RDA mission.

Ideal candidate profile

Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience with at least five years of progressive responsibility in economic development, business development, or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience with nonprofit organizations.
  • Proven ability to deliver economic development results, manage projects, and build effective partnerships.
  • Proven track record of building consensus among diverse stakeholders and leading complex organizations.

What You Will Bring

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration, nursing, nonprofit administration, or a related field.
  • Significant progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations at the director level or above.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex operations across multiple functions, sites, service lines, or locations.

The ideal candidate will lead a group focused on bioanalytical efforts (ligand binding assays and mass spectrometry) for biologics and other modalities while also serving as a project-team representative, regularly interacting with multi-disciplinary discovery teams and partners from other functions within our Research & Development Division. Therapeutic area support with focus on our immunology and oncology portfolios, with the potential to contribute to cardiovascular/metabolic, neuroscience and infectious disease efforts as well. The successful candidate will be expected to represent PDMB on cross‑functional teams through strategic design and evaluation of bioanalytical approaches and results, interpretation of PK and PK/PD data sets and through effective communication at both internal meetings and external conferences.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead bioanalytical strategies for a portfolio of drug discovery programs with a primary focus on biologics (monoclonal antibodies, bispecifics, and engineered proteins), providing high quality and timely data to project teams across our Research & Development Division’s drug discovery portfolio
