  • Collects data on assigned surgical cases by the unit based Performance Standards of Care. Cleans equipment and facilities as necessary. Performs housekeeping duties as requested.
  • Transports patients according to unit schedules and priorities. Provides clerical duties.
  • Completes instrument, sponge, needle and blade counts with the Registered Nurse (RN) according to established standards.
  • Sets up/maintains neat and orderly sterile field demonstrating careful attention to aseptic technique. Labels solutions according to established standards.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION/DUTIES:

  • Must incorporate assertive engagement techniques to identify, locate, engage, and retain the most difficult to engage individuals who cycle in and out of intensive services
  • Must demonstrate the implementation of well though out engagement strategies to minimize discharges due to drop out including the use of street and shelter outreach approaches, legal mechanisms such as outpatient commitment (when clinically indicated), and collaboration with family, friends, parole and/or probation officers
  • Expected to gather assessment information from internal or external provider sources on existing individuals in order to identify the individual’s strengths, needs, abilities, resources, and preferences
  • May complete a comprehensive behavioral health assessment on new individuals as well as ongoing assessments to ensure meeting the individual’s changing needs or circumstances
  • Expected to actively and assertively participate in transitional planning via in person or, when in person participation is impractical, via teleconference meetings between stakeholders
  • Ensuring the individual has access to services and resources such as housing, pharmacy, benefits, a support network, etc. when being discharged from a psychiatric hospital; released from jail; or experiencing an episode of homelessness
  • Assist all eligible individuals with the application process to obtain entitlement benefits including SSI/SSDI, Food Stamps, VA, Medicaid, etc. including making appointments completing applications and related paperwork

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in the field of psychology, social work, counseling education, or human services field

  • Minimum of four (4) years of documented experience working with adults with a SPMI

  • Active Georgia Counseling Licens (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)

Primary Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

  • Research domestic and international materials, products, and systems to support design decisions and specifications.
  • Conduct safe and accurate site surveys and develop existing conditions documentation.
  • Travels onsite to project fields for client meetings and site inspections and visits: ~25% requirement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) from an ABET accredited university.
  • 5+ years of relevant structural engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Structural Engineer (SE) license preferred.
  • Demonstrates experience in both vertical and horizontal designs.
  • Strong skills in structural analysis and finite element modeling; ability to learn specialized software as needed.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit.
  • Experience with federal design projects and Whole Building Design Guide is a plus.
  • Understanding of antiterrorism, force protection, hardening, and blast design is highly sought.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.  

Optional Experience:

  • Experience supporting facilities for Federal Government clients sector is highly desirable. 

Salary Base:

This full-time position as a Structural Engineer, level III has an annual base range of $113,200-$131,400. This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements.
