Responsibilities:

The Bed Control Registered Nurse coordinates and assigns all beds at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. The Bed Control RN collaborates with physician offices, emergency department, inpatient units, surgical services and procedural areas to facilitate patient flow and provide optimum service to all patients and physicians.

Requirements: 

  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. 
  • BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start 
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred. 
  • 1 year of RN experience in an Acute Care environment 
  • NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

What You'll Be Doing
