What Will You Enjoy Doing

To perform maintenance of proprietary ALPLA equipment (e.g. Extrusion Blow Molding machines, Stretch Blow Molding machines, Injection Molding machines, packaging systems, automated palletizers) and general facility maintenance.

 

  • Equipment installation and preventative maintenance:
    • Set up proprietary ALPLA equipment
    • Conduct regular preventive maintenance tasks on machinery to ensure optimal functionality and prolong equipment lifespan.

  • Performs predictive maintenance:

  • Troubleshooting and repairs:

Our client, a manufacturing company is seeking several CNC Machinists to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of the Production team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of CNC experience, willingness to learn and be dependable which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist/Operator

Location: Grantsburg, WI

Pay Range: $25 to 34/hour depending on experience level. Quarterly profit sharing bonus included. 

Shift:  2nd & 3rd Shift, 6:30a-2:30p & 2:30p-10:30p.

 

What’s the Job?

  • Operate, set-up and adjust CNC lathes including multiple spindle CNC lathes.
  • Do Operational sequence planning; install chucks and collets, set bar stock feed mechanism and stops to perform operations such as face, turn, drill, ream, bore, tap, thread and cut off stock up to the capacity of the machine
  • Check parts produced for dimensional and finish conformance to specifications
  • Remove and reset tooling or otherwise adjust machine as required
  • Remove machined parts, bar ends and turnings from machine.

 What’s Needed?

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year of CNC machining experience preferred.
  • Must be competent in in the use of complicated drawings, shop mathematics, handbook formulas and a variety of precision measuring instruments.

Client Operations Apprentice

Sharebite is founded on the principle that business can be a force for good! The corporate meal platform pairs its business services with a social impact model, donating a meal to alleviate food insecurity for every transaction made.

Prior to working this first shift, you will complete a phone interview with a Bluecrew Recruiter. On the phone call, you will be asked about your experience and situational questions listed below:

  • A restaurant delivers 140 lunches instead of the expected 150. What would you do?

You are working alone and receive multiple deliveries simultaneously. How would you prioritize your work?

Once you pass the phone screen, you will be invited to a 2 week training process which will have shifts at various sites around the city each day. You will shadow a Sharebite team member to learn the company values and processes.

At the end of the two week training period, you will have the opportunity to be eligible to work independent shifts, higher-volume sites, recurring schedules.

After Each Shift, you will be evaluated on:

  • Punctuality
  • Communication
  • Professionalism
  • SOP compliance
  • Client interaction

Workers who consistently score well can be invited to future shifts and recurring opportunities.

Basic Onsite Responsibilities include:

  • Receive and organize restaurant deliveries.
  • Verify order counts and report any discrepancies.
  • Set up food stations in a clean and organized manner.
  • Alphabetize and stage individual meal orders for pickup.
  • Update delivery statuses using Sharebite technology.
  • Take proof of delivery photos.
  • Assist employees with locating their orders.
  • Communicate with restaurant partners, drivers, and the Operations team when issues arise.
  • Maintain a clean, professional, and welcoming pickup area.
  • Follow all client-specific operating procedures or SOPs.
  • Complete shift documentation and reporting before leaving the site.

Attendance: please note that if you are absent from any shifts within the first 2 weeks of work, while you are an apprentice, you may be released from this position.

4 hour shift minimum: each shift you are required to clock in and out on the bluecrew app. Your worked shift may be less than 4 hours. However, your Supervisor will adjust the shift length to the 4 hour minimum shift length. Your shifts will be adjusted each Monday for the prior week. Therefore, in this position, you can depend on 16 - 20 hours per week.

Scheduling first week:

  • Day 1 and 4: virtual training.
  • Day 2 and 3: onsite training.
