Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the resident during the scheduled work period in long term care. Considered a member of the nursing team and is expected to know, and will be held accountable for, following infection prevention and control policies and Personal Protective Equipment use. Assists the resident in transferring, repositioning, and walking using correct and appropriate transfer techniques and equipment and also provides range of motion and passive exercises. Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining, while creating a positive dining experience for the resident. Assists residents with meals and snacks, provides water and supplements as appropriate.

The NA aids providers and nursing staff members with procedures, if needed. Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary. Communicates resident's changing condition and care related concerns/responses to the charge nurse. Collects non-invasive body fluid specimens and gathers vital signs. Provides housekeeping and laundry services to assist residents with keeping living areas clean and operational. Provides assistance and documentation with wellness and recreational programs and encourages residents to participate. May participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed.

Qualifications

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.

Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement. CNA training and certification required and provided by facility.

Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year. A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually. Maintains all department specific required certifications.

When applicable, for applicable states, certified and registered with the Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) Registry.

Dependent on facility and required responsibilities, this role may classify as a Sanford Category II Driver requiring a motor

vehicle report and proof of valid driver’s license. Also must be medically qualified to perform the essential driving functions of

this position as per our Sanford Driving Policy per the leaders request.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. Collaborates with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care. Demonstrates competency and practices within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge and utilizes appropriate age and population specific standards as designated in their assigned clinical setting. Cares for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. May serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to license and unlicensed assistive personnel that are within the job descriptions, skills, resident care needs, and the competence level of the delegate. Provides adequate assistance and support to delegates to ensure safe, reliable administration of resident care and resolution of care and service concerns. Functions within the scopes and standards of nursing practice as outlined in the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in state of practice and licensure. The Professional Nursing Practice recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements as published by the American Nurses Association as the foundation of nursing care delivery and professional conduct.

Qualifications

Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.

HDR is seeking a dynamic and experienced Substation P&C Engineering Team Lead to lead and grow our nationally ranked Power Delivery team. This technical leadership role is responsible for knowledge and execution of the technical aspects and deliverables of projects assigned to them. As a key member of our NC Power Delivery management team, the Substation P&C Engineering Team Lead will be responsible for:

  • Team Management & Development: Managing a high-performing substation P&C engineering team. This includes assigning responsibilities, mentoring junior staff, and fostering a collaborative culture focusing on technical excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Project Oversight: The Team Lead will oversee the technical execution of substation projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget compliance. They will plan and allocate resources for junior staff, ensuring alignment with HDR's project execution processes.
  • Proposal Development: Assist with developing proposals to include technical writing and project estimating within the area of technical expertise.
  • Strategic Growth & Business Planning: Supporting the Substation Business Class Manager's growth strategies by identifying and developing specific technical expertise.
  • Technical Leadership & Innovation: Attend trainings to further develop understanding of complex concepts related to their discipline.
  • Collaboration & Integration: Work with Client Managers, Operational Managers, and Technical Leaders to ensure seamless integration of services and consistent delivery of world-class solutions.

This role requires a self-motivated, strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of substation P&C engineering, and the ability to manage teams and projects. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of HDR's substation practice in the North Carolina area and beyond.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous consulting firm experience desired
  • Previous staff supervision experience preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • PE License
  • Design experience with high voltage electrical switchyard and substation projects of varying complexity up to 500kV, including at a minimum, conceptual knowledge of P&C design and knowledge of IEEE ANSI, and other applicable design standards
  • Experience using industry standard design software (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)
  • Ability to travel, less than 10%

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 7 years experience
  • Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments
  • Good leadership and organizational skills

What You'll Do:

As an Assistant Shop Manager, you'll spend about 80% of your time rocking it as a technician while learning the ropes of leadership to prepare for a shop manager role. You'll be a key player in keeping our shop running smoothly and our customers smiling. Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-offs, coolant exchanges, and differential services with speed and precision.
  • Washing windshields, checking tire pressure, and helping customers choose the right oil and services.
  • Processing payments and ensuring every customer leaves happy with a great experience.
  • Maintaining a clean shop, restocking inventory, and keeping the office and bathroom spotless.
  • Stepping up to oversee the store when the shop manager is away, including opening/closing procedures and inventory checks.
  • Being a role model for your team with a positive attitude and strong work ethic, without the stress of hiring or firing decisions.

What We're Looking For:

The Opportunity

As Director of Workforce & Leadership Development, you will shape how employees learn, grow, and prepare for greater responsibility across the organization. You will work closely with manufacturing and HR leadership to identify capability gaps, strengthen leadership pipelines, improve technical development, and create clearer career opportunities for employees.

Key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Create and execute a workforce development strategy supporting manufacturing operations

What Will Make You Successful

We are particularly interested in candidates who have built learning, talent, or organizational development programs within manufacturing rather than solely in a corporate environment.

You should be comfortable working with both senior executives and frontline employees and understand that successful workforce development in manufacturing must connect to operational results.

Strong candidates will bring:

  • 12+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Talent Development, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related areas
  • At least 5 years of significant L&D, Talent Development, or Organizational Development responsibility within manufacturing
  • Experience supporting multiple facilities, business units, or manufacturing locations
  • A track record of developing employees from frontline positions through leadership roles
  • Strong leadership development and succession planning experience
  • Experience identifying and developing high-potential employees
  • Knowledge of talent assessment and leadership assessment tools
  • Experience creating technical or competency-based workforce development programs
  • Experience with modern learning platforms, digital learning, and blended training approaches
  • Ability to work effectively with Plant Managers, Operations leaders, Engineering, Quality, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain, and HR
  • Experience measuring the impact of workforce development against business performance
  • Strong facilitation, coaching, communication, and executive presentation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or a related discipline
