The Laundry Aide provides quality laundry services to all facility residents. Assists in maintaining adequate supply of linens for the facility and supplies needed in the department. A Taste of Your Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to operating and maintenance teams by troubleshooting and diagnosing issues related to programmable logic controller and human machine interface systems.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality, reduce customer complaints, and ensure compliance with Food and Drug Administration and United States Department of Agriculture regulations.

  • Identify and correct unsafe conditions to improve employee safety and health and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.

  • Drive productivity improvements through efficiency gains, yield improvements, labor utilization enhancements, and rate improvements.

  • Ensure projects are designed, managed, and constructed in accordance with Conagra Engineering Standards including partnering with vendors and contractors.

  • Facilitate technology transfer from Corporate Engineering, Research and Development, and Manufacturing Engineering to Manufacturing Operations and Maintenance teams, ensuring effective startup execution and training plans.

  • Serve as a technical consultant to manufacturing by analyzing system and equipment failures, troubleshooting issues, and recommending maintenance actions, procedural changes, or capital improvements.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor automation and control strategies and system architecture for the Darien, Wisconsin facility.

  • Support capital projects by managing scope, budget, timelines, and startup activities.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • 4+ years of electrical engineering experience with a focus on controls and automation.

  • Experience supporting programmable logic controller (PLC) and human machine interface (HMI) systems in a manufacturing environment.

  • Preferred experience with Rockwell‑based platforms, FactoryTalk environments, supervisory control and data acquisition systems, and industrial manufacturing networks.

  • Experience working with corporate engineering or similar functions in a consumer products manufacturing environment, preferably food processing.

  • Capital project management experience, including scope definition, budget management, and startup execution.

Days in office: Onsite 5+ days per week with weekend/night support as needed.

  • Inventory and Parts Management
    • Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stocking Harley-Davidson parts and accessories.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of parts.
    • Ensure accurate and timely completion of all paperwork related to parts inventory, including warranties, returns, and stock adjustments.
  • Service Operations
    • Supervise the service department to ensure all repairs and maintenance work is performed to manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
    • Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, and customers to ensure efficient and accurate diagnosis, service, and repair of motorcycles.
    • Maintain a high level of organization in the service department, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and proper use of tools and equipment
  • Customer Relations
    • Act as a primary point of contact for customers with parts and service needs, handling escalations and resolving issues.
    • Proactively follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
    • Collaborate with the sales department to support vehicle deliveries and ensure all necessary parts and services are ready.
  • Financial Management
    • Monitor and manage department budgets, including sales targets, labor costs, and inventory costs.
    • Work with the dealership's finance department to ensure proper accounting and reporting of parts and service transactions.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide regular reports to the General Manager on departmental performance, challenges, and areas for growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience
    • High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an automotive or powersports service and parts department, with Harley-Davidson experience preferred.
    • Proven leadership and management experience in a dealership setting.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
    • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient with dealership management software (DMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of Harley-Davidson products, accessories, and parts.
