Pay and Benefit Expectations

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $181.00 - $181.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.

Requirements:

  • 18+ Years of Age
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, operational facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and credential-controlled areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communication protocols.
  • Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate airport personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
