Key Qualifications
  • Ability to attend Police Officers Standards &Training (P.O.S.T.) programs related to public safety support and dispatch activities.
  • Ability to independently make effective decisions and judgments in emergency situations.
  • Follows campus procedures in coordination with university police in the inventory of evidence.
Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent and three months of related experience.
Licenses, Certificates, and Credentials
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Class "C" California Driver's License and acceptable driving record
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) to work aboard the training ship.

Anticipated Hiring Range: $44,076 - $46,776 annually
Classification Range: $41,532 - $60,516 annually

The Anticipated Hiring Range referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. Principal Duties:

Essential Job Duties:

  1. Greet and welcome all residents, visitors, vendors, and contractors in a warm, professional, and hospitable manner.
  2. Verify, document, and monitor the presence of all third-party contractors, visitors, and vendors entering the community, ensuring proper access and direction.
  3. Deliver exceptional customer service to all individuals entering and leaving the premises, ensuring a positive and respectful experience.
