Job Summary

As an Outside Sales Executive, Payment Technology, you’ll be on the front lines helping small and mid-sized merchants modernize how they run their business through Genius®, our industry-leading Point of Sale and payment platform.

You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to running demos, negotiating, and closing deals. You’ll work closely with your District Manager and sales leadership for coaching and support while driving your own success in a fast-paced, high-reward environment.

This is a role for driven, tech-savvy sales professionals who want to make an impact—selling real solutions that help local businesses simplify operations, improve customer experience, and grow revenue.

What You’ll Do

  • Sell Genius® and other Global Payments solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across restaurant, retail, and service industries.

  • Develop and manage a consistent pipeline through field prospecting, digital outreach, and local networking.

  • Deliver consultative, value-based presentations both in-person and virtually to demonstrate how Genius® helps businesses streamline payments, improve operations, and increase customer loyalty.

  • Collaborate with your District Manager to identify new opportunities, set appointments, and close sales within a short cycle.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity tracking in Atlas and Salesforce, including call notes, follow-ups, and client communications.

  • Upsell and cross-sell existing merchants on new features, software add-ons, and hardware upgrades.

  • Stay current on the fintech landscape, industry trends, and product updates to position yourself as a trusted technology advisor.

What You Bring

  • Proven success in B2B sales, preferably in SaaS, fintech, or merchant services.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills—comfortable selling both face-to-face and virtually.

  • High energy, self-motivated, and competitive—driven to exceed targets.

  • Professional presence and genuine ability to connect with business owners.

  • Familiarity with the restaurant or retail industries is a plus.

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to spend at least 75% of your time in the field.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications

Job Summary

Job Duties

Your role as a SRM is to close sales of our business solutions with merchants throughout the area. You will work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build. You will then run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Global Payments Point of Sale solutions to close sales in small to mid-sized businesses. 

During the training period, your District Manager will accompany you on your initial appointments to train you on our short-cycle sales process using our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, used for lead generation, sales presentations, on the spot client financial analysis and paperless contract processing.  

Additional Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting new clients. 

  • Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; currently Atlas.

  • Responsible for achieving minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota.

  • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.

  • Attend weekly team meeting and weekly one-on-one with leader.

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

    Job Summary 

    We are seeking a territory-based Outside Sales Account Executive to drive growth within the merchant payments and fintech space. This role focuses on acquiring and managing SMB clients by selling payment processing, POS, and related fintech solutions. The ideal candidate resides within the greater Indianapolis area and has a strong history of quota achievement in a field sales environment. 

     

    Job Responsibilities  

    • Prospect and close new business with small and mid-sized merchants  

    • Sell payment processing, POS, and fintech solutions  

    • Conduct in-person and outbound sales activity within your assigned territory  

    • Manage leads, opportunities, and customer data in Salesforce  

    • Meet or exceed established sales quotas  

     

    Required Qualifications 

    • Candidate must reside within the defined territory

    • 1+ years of outside sales or field sales experience with the ability to be in the field a minimum of 75% of the time 

    • Previous job titles clearly aligned to: 

    • Outside Sales 

    • Territory Sales 

    • Account Executive 

    • Business Development 

    • Experience selling SaaS, POS, payments, merchant services, or fintech solutions 

    • Compensation expectations: $120,000+ OTE

    • Industry knowledge of:

    Job Summary

    As a District Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of top-performing sales professionals, ensuring they achieve and exceed sales goals within your designated region. Combining leadership, coaching, and direct sales, your role will drive team performance and foster growth. You will conduct weekly 1:1 meetings, pipeline reviews, and sales coaching sessions to keep your team motivated, accountable, and equipped for success. You will monitor team activity, track performance metrics and ensure effective execution of the sales process. As a key liaison between regional teams and senior leadership you will provide valuable insights to shape sales strategies and contribute to the company's success.

    During your training, you will work closely with your Director to master the sales process, utilizing the Atlas CRM platform for lead generation, financial analysis, sales presentations, and contract processing. This dynamic role is ideal for a leader who thrives on developing others, achieving results, and driving growth in a competitive and rewarding environment.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Responsible for assisting the team to prospect clients. 
    • Maintain existing/prospective client records, in accordance with company policies, to include call notes, scheduled client interactions, contact information, and other relevant client information, in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; Atlas.
    • Responsible for making sure the team achieves minimum production requirements, including setting first time appointments, to secure quota.
    • Continuously build and develop knowledge of current product/service portfolio as well as changes and developments within the financial technology industry, to remain up-to-date.
    • Attend and lead weekly team meetings and weekly one-on-one with leader.
    • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
