Position Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor Maintenance is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance functions, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and PPE requirements.
  • Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
  • Leads and directs the work of other employees.
  • Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
  • Continuously improving manufacturing processes in terms of quality and performance measurements and identifying and eliminating bottleneck areas.
  • Seek to ensure reliability of plant and equipment operation while optimizing maintenance and operation costs and satisfying all safety, environmental etc. regulations in the process.
  • Identify and solve safety concerns encountered during design and study of manufacturing processes
  • Devise hands on improvement processes to reduce scrap and defects while improving throughput and document SOPs and the implementation of Best Practices into the facility. Assist in coordinating the installation of new equipment to maximize production efficiency and maintainability.
  • Work with production to make modifications to equipment and work areas for maximum efficiency of operation.
  • Maintain a knowledge base in the capacity of existing utilities and the current level of utilization.
  • Stay abreast of the latest safety, environmental and other regulations which affect the facility to ensure compliance.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in overseeing the maintenance of the equipment and the facility to ensure the company receives maximum utilization of its assets.
  • Implement and ensure compliance with the systems designed by the manager, focusing on execution and direct oversight.
  • Assist in keeping written documentation of environmental compliance current.
  • Periodically prepare reports to satisfy environmental and safety regulations and ensure a safe and professional work environment.
  • Reviews, evaluates, counsels, disciplines and discharges employees as necessary to ensure department meets or exceeds productivity requirements.
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to product manufacturability.
  • Ensure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards. Investigate and identify root causes of any non-compliance.
  • Accountable for a safe working environment through the development of strategies focused on accident reduction as well as energy and waste minimization.
  • Oversee effective deployment of human resources throughout the plant and ensure the correct administration of the collective Bargaining Agreement (if applicable).

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, SAP and Power Point.
  • Proven Leadership experience in a Production environment.
  • Strong team player who can work across multiple functions.

  • Work Schedule: Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight and holidays may be required.
  • Work Environment: Operating in a fast-paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised, with clear production targets and schedules to meet.
  • Floor Presence Expectation: minimum of 65%

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel anticipated: Rarely

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor Maintenance is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance functions, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Position Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor Maintenance is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance functions, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Supervisor Maintenance is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance functions, ensuring proper preventive maintenance of physical plant and all operating equipment, electrical troubleshooting, minimizing equipment downtime to provide maximum production capacity, and compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

As an Auto Glass Now Shop Manager, your job will include:

  • Recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, & training new Glass Techs and Customer Service Reps
  • Creating employee schedules & submitting payroll
  • Controlling inventory: Conduct End of Period (EOP) and End of Year (EOY) inventory
  • Balance registers, close out invoices, and make bank deposits
  • Placing product orders and physically restocking inventory as necessary
  • Understanding the shop's financials to drive results and utilize budget wisely
  • Conducting quarterly employee evaluations

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements as assigned, across all media windows (Network, Pay Cable, Pay TV, FAST, AVOD, SVOD, TVOD, EST, and digital platforms), possibly including distribution agreements, tape license agreements, format license agreements, amendments, non-disclosure agreements, etc.
  • Conduct detailed contract analysis and rights research to confirm underlying rights, holdbacks, exclusivity, windowing, territorial restrictions to prevent rights conflicts
  • Field day-to-day legal inquiries from internal stakeholders (Sales, Deal & Rights Management, Marketing, Digital, Publicity) and legal team
  • Compile, manage, interpret and synthesize advertising & edit restrictions and disseminate to Operations for exploitation of programming
  • Maintain accuracy of deal tracker and ensure agreements are being assigned and processed in a timely manner
  • Handle general corporate issues as assigned and support the legal with any special projects that may arise from time-to-times

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in good standing (California Bar or Registered In-House Counsel preferred)
  • 2+ years of attorney experience in entertainment transactional law, preferably within a television studio, network, media distributor, streaming platform, or entertainment law firm
  • Equal proficiency in contract drafting and rights research, with demonstrated experience reviewing license agreements, and distribution terms
  • High precision and attention to detail when analyzing contracts, including specific language, rights, holdbacks, exclusivity, etc.
  • Working knowledge of media distribution
  • Excellent time management and self-motivation, with a proven ability to prioritize assignments and manage a high volume of active deals in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of personnel and cross-functional departments

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER

  • Hands-on experience navigating rights management systems and databases (e.g., Rightsline, Salesforce)
  • Familiarity with international television licensing, international format rights, or foreign distribution nuances
  • Direct background working with rights management, content operations, or marketing teams within a content sales organization)
