Job Summary:

Responsibilities:




  • Administer specialized nursing care to pediatric patients during cardiovascular surgeries in the CVOR setting.

  • Monitor patient vital signs and responses to procedures, adjusting care plans as needed.

  • Operate and troubleshoot all types of surgical equipment, including Belmont rapid infusion systems.

  • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR and communicate effectively with the surgical team.

  • Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and post-operative recovery procedures.

  • Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.








Qualifications:




  • Hold a valid RN license with at least 2 years of OR experience.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in multiple service lines, including cardiac and open-heart surgery.

  • Possess pediatric care experience, with CVOR and cardiac experience preferred.

  • Exhibit strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to adapt to new equipment and technologies efficiently.

Your Impact

Pearce is seeking Experienced HVAC Technicians to join our team for servicing and repairing commercial HVAC equipment on telecom shelters located on Cell Tower sites. JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

The Resident Care Manager I shall coordinate the participant's care in collaboration with the participant, and all members of the participant's care team (e.g., primary care physician, mental health service provider, substance use disorder service provider, ECM providers, housing navigators, street outreach case managers, family members, etc.) and support the day-to-day operations of the Community by performing the following duties:

The head provides visionary leadership for all aspects of the department's current and future activities in teaching, research, Extension, and service. The head is responsible for administrative management fostering teamwork among faculty, staff and students of the department by using appropriate communication, management methods, and organizational guidelines to develop, enable, implement, and evaluate programs. The head fosters relationships and communication with other academic and center/institute heads on- and off-campus, and external stakeholders. The Department of Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ABE) has an energetic group of 20 on-campus faculty members engaged in teaching, research, and extension, as well as several other faculty members at MSU-affiliated research centers and adjuncts employed elsewhere. We have a strong culture of mentoring junior faculty members to help them attain success. Our department is co-administered by the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences and the Bagley College of Engineering, and it offers undergraduate (B.S.) and graduate (M.S. and Ph.D.) degrees in three distinct program areas: Biomedical Engineering and Bio-systems Engineering, which are both accredited by ABET, and Agricultural Engineering Technology & Business. Within these programs, the department has roughly 400 undergraduates and 40 graduate students. This position is responsible for designing, facilitating, implementing, and evaluating high-quality sexuality education and professional learning opportunities for educators, youth-serving professionals, parents and caregivers in various communities throughout New York State. This role serves as a key member of the Learning and Practice Team and the Adult Role Model team, supporting the organization's commitment to advancing equitable, culturally responsive, trauma-informed, evidence-informed sexual and reproductive health education. The Sexuality Education Specialist focuses on the professional learning through the planning and continuous improvement of trainings for internal staff, external professionals, and community partners. The position develops engaging learning experiences, educational resources that strengthen the knowledge, skills, and implementation of best practices in sexuality education, positive youth development, and sexual and reproductive health/justice. The {insert title} also supports the Adult Role Model program by implementing workshops and educational programming for parents and caregivers that build confidence and skills for having age-appropriate conversations about sexual health topics. This position supports the cultivation of partnerships with stakeholders at schools and community-based organizations. This position will also provide support and technical assistance for special projects within the Education Department, as well as in partnership with other PPGNY departments, affiliates, and community-based organizations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES   

Education, Training, and Facilitation (50%) 

  • Support workshop and training logistics, including preparation, materials, space, and refreshments. 

  • Facilitate evidence-based and evidence-informed sexuality education curricula that strengthen communication skills and increase knowledge related to sexual and reproductive health topics to community members and professionals in accordance with grant and work plan objectives. 

  • Deliver professional development trainings, workshops, and technical assistance to educators, healthcare providers, youth-serving professionals, and community partners. 

  • Adapt and customize training content to meet the needs of diverse audiences while maintaining fidelity to approved curricula and learning objectives. 

  • Collaborate with PPGNY staff across various departments to develop, revise, and enhance curricula, training materials, and educational resources. 

  • Ensure all educational activities are delivered in accordance with PPGNY's mission, values, guiding principles, and educational standards. 

Community Education and Outreach (20%)
