VES - Veterans Evaluation Services - a private contractor hired by the US Veterans Affairs to conduct medical disability examinations. They are hiring OHC to fill 1/2 day per week in Juneau / Sitka, AK for a General Medicine Nurse Practitioner. This process consists of OHC finding a provider who already has a brick-and-mortar office in Juneau / Sitka, AK where veterans can come to them for their exams. The office must be within 50 miles of the city. Presentations must include the address the provider is coming from.

Requirements needed to present and credential for VES:

  • All items listed as presentation, must be in the presentation for them to look at the candidate.
  • All Presentations need to have address they are coming from as they have to live in with certain Radius of the city listed.
  • Items that are listed as credentialing are due within 3 days of being accepted (this is a Nonnegotiable process)
    • Online training link sent directly to provider after credentialing approves application (approx. 8-10 hrs. of compensated training) MUST be completed within 7 business days if not they will be deactivating the provider
    • This is paid we bill $450 for this training
  • Scheduling the provider happens after all trainings and credentialing is completed
    • Virtual pre-Exam orientation and 1st exams are scheduled

The Digital and Data Accounting Manager is a liaison between the Poland-based General Ledger and Project Accounting teams, Streetlight leadership teams, D&D Private Markets and Water and D&D controller. This role owns the integrity of the general ledger, the accuracy of project-level accounting across both subscription and consulting revenue streams under ASC 606, and the software capitalization process under ASC 350-40. The role supports financial reporting that feeds SEC filings and executive reporting, so accuracy, documentation, and audit-readiness are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Oversight

  • Own the integrity of the general ledger, including the accuracy and timeliness of journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations across the GL team.
  • Manage the month-end and quarter-end close, ensuring close milestones are met, reconciling items are cleared on schedule, and TB upload happens on day 3.
  • Recreate all of the reconciliations and assist Poland team on maintaining the reconciliation discipline going forward.
  • Create monthly royalties and other internal reports needed to report DaaS and other Streetlight initiatives.

Project Accounting Oversight:

  • Lead project accounting for the consulting portfolio, including revenue recognition under ASC 606 and unbilled and deferred balances. Assist PA teams on maintaining the integrity of recognition rules with SaaS industry.
  • Coordinate with the SaaS revenue process to ensure subscription revenue, deferred revenue, and contract balances are accurately stated. Establish and own the IWA process, currently in development.
  • Oversee project setup, cost capture, and margin accuracy at the engagement level.

Compliance and Other

  • Maintain sales tax (Wayfair Ruling) compliance with outside tax consultants as well as internal Jacobs sales tax team. Assist other Jacobs entities in being compliant, i.e. expansion of UK Water portfolio into the States.
  • Maintain Avalara relationship.
  • Maintain Canada sales tax compliance.
  • Manage state registrations and work with Jacobs sales tax team to ensure compliance on state level.
  • Calculation of monthly and quarterly commissions, maintaining prepaid reconciliation and integrity of ASC606 rules.
  • Software Capitalization (ASC 350-40)
  • Execute the capitalization process for internal-use and internally developed software, including identification of qualifying application-development-stage costs, capitalization cutoffs, and the start of amortization at go-live.
  • Partner with engineering, product and services teams to capture project hours and cost inputs and to assess cloud computing arrangement implementation costs under ASU 2018-15.
  • Prepare a monthly reconciliation and maintain capitalization schedules, amortization, and impairment indicators with supporting documentation sufficient for external audit. Work with internal Streetlight product and engineering teams to enable more precise and sophisticated time tracking related to development and capitalization.
  • Partner with Fixed Assets to evaluate D&D's software capitalization practices against Jacobs policy, determine whether current treatment reflects a supportable accounting distinction (ASC 350-40 vs. ASC 985-20) or a process deviation and remediate if the latter."

Team Efforts:

  • Partner the Poland GL and Project Accounting teams across time zones to maintain close-cycle continuity and improve processes continually
  • Coordinating with StreetLight Sales Ops on contract structuring, payment terms (to optimize DSO), and sales tax implications to prevent close-cycle disruptions from unresolved sales-side issues.
  • Assist the D&D Controller to establish SaaS revenue recognition and compliance processes supporting new SaaS market expansion within the U.S. within Private Markets and Water, including sales tax compliance, nexus studies, revenue recognition, contract structure and systems setup

Here's what you'll need

As a Product & Compliance Analyst, you'll leverage your organizational and interpersonal skills to affect operations within lines of business and ensuring corporate compliance.

This position will be filled at either our office in Stevens Point, WI or our office in Edwardsville, IL in a hybrid work model. Monday and Friday work from home if you choose, Tuesday through Thursday required to be in office.

What You'll Do

There are three major roles you'll support as a Product & Compliance Analyst: supporting state insurance products for Sentry's business products niches, communicating implementation and availability of new or enhanced products, and participating in projects focused on key improvement initiatives.

Within these roles you'll:

  • Implement and communicate strategic plans for markets by working with internal partnerships
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses to take advantage of market opportunities
  • Create, maintain, and file exhibits and requests with the State for changes to products
  • Work as a team player to analyze markets, data, and trends
  • Communicate results to the team and management
  • Announce product rate, rule, and form updates to the impacted business areas

What It Takes

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of related work experience preferred
  • Prior insurance background preferred
  • Understanding of Microsoft Excel to create and manage spreadsheets
  • Ability to collect and analyze data and trends and clearly communicate their results
  • Insurance coursework such as CPCU, AINS or ARM is beneficial but not required
  • Strong interpersonal communication and analytical skills are essential

Based on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position is: $56,200-$84,400 annually.

Non-Clinical Care Center Operations Manager

Responsible for overseeing non-clinical care center operations and support functions, including human resources, billing support, communications systems, purchasing, scheduling, space utilization, mail services, and secretarial support. This position works closely with the care center Director of Operations and Clinical Manager, as well as corporate teams, to ensure efficient hospice operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages non-clinical staffing at care center, including hiring, onboarding, performance management support, staffing assignments, ongoing training, maintaining equipment, and compliance with employee documentation required by HR and regulatory agencies. Indirectly manages and supervises BOS role.
  • In conjunction with the Area Financial Specialist, works with care center employees to address payroll time and mileage discrepancies.

  • Ensures compliance with all new and current employee documentation required by Human Resources and regulatory agencies for maintaining employment within the organization including, but not limited to, I9 compliance, professional licensure, background checks, and all other documents related to employment.
  • Monitors care center claims and assists corporate teams with semi-monthly billing periods, as well as with bills held in prior billing periods, including completion of all billing adjustments.
  • Facilitates Prebill Audit Meetings to review and address outstanding billing, claim, and operational issues.
  • Facilitates accurate and timely billing by proactively addressing and resolving bill holds.
  • Serves as a subject matter expert on billing-related processes and procedures for care center staff.
  • Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payors, company policies and procedures, and federal and state regulations.
  • Ensures care center leadership has visibility into financial performance by escalating issues as appropriate, providing timely updates, and facilitating meetings.
  • Manages state-specific requirements as it relates to billing and room and board.
  • Completes scheduling tasks, including scheduling initial and discharge visits, managing on-call, and processing rescheduled or missed visits.
  • Ensures office runs efficiently by answering and directing inbound calls, effectively managing space, office supplies, and completing mail services, among other administrative support as needed.
  • Responsible for supporting the facility/vendor contract process, as well as reviewing/approving invoices and physician timesheets.
  • Promotes compliance with all fiscal intermediary and/or other third-party payors, organizational policies and procedures, and state and federal regulations. Maintains security and confidentiality regarding patient, staff, and organizational information.
  • Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meeting (IDT) at the direction of care center leadership.
  • Performs necessary invoicing tasks for care center as needed or required by care center.
  • Interacts with the HSPC Area Financial Specialist and other central teams to coordinate payroll tasks for their care centers.
  • Complies with policies, procedures and regulatory mandates including but not limited to abiding to the terms of the Amedisys Compliance Program.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for: Hoffmann Counseling Services of New Ulm, Mankato, and St. Peter is seeking full time and part time Mental Health Practitioners. Our Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) program and Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health (ARMS) program provide community based rehabilitative services to children, adolescents, adults, and families impacted by mental illness. Our Mental Health Practitioners provide individual and family skills training under the direction of a Qualified Mental Health Professional. Qualified candidates will be able to provide services to children and families in the home and community settings, and work independently and engage effectively with children with mental illness. Starting Pay: $21-22/hr depending on qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skills training, assessment and monitoring in the areas identified in the individual's Diagnostic Assessment.
  • Provide services in the recipient's home, community or office.
  • Maintain records of progress for each face-to-face meeting and telephone contacts with clients and their supports.
  • Schedule appointments and see the client to give requested services for the amount of time and frequency agreed upon by the treatment team.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other agency and community providers to provide the best possible care for the client ensuring necessary releases of information are completed.
  • Monitor client progress and with the clinical team, create and modify the treatment plan as appropriate.
  • Complete timely and professionally written reports.
  • Actively participate in the supervisory process.

Qualifications:

Mental health practitioners providing services for the treatment of mental illness, who are not eligible for enrollment, must be under clinical supervision of a mental health professional and must be qualified in at least one of the following five ways:

  • Holds a bachelor's degree in a behavioral science or a related field, from an accredited college or university and meets either a or b:
    • Has at least 2,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to recipients with mental illness
    • Is fluent in a non-English language of a cultural group to which at least 50% of the practitioners recipients belong, completes 40 hours of training in the delivery of services to recipients with mental illness, and receives clinical supervision from a mental health professional at least once a week until the requirements of 2,000 hours of supervised experience are met
  • Has at least 6,000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to recipients with mental illness. Hours worked as a mental health behavioral aide I or II under Children's Therapeutic Services and Supports (CTSS) may be included in the 6,000 hours of experience for child recipients.
  • Is a graduate student in one of the mental health professional disciplines and an accredited college or university formally assigns the student to an agency or facility for clinical training
  • Holds a masters or other graduate degree in one of the mental health professional disciplines from an accredited college or university
  • Is a tribally certified mental health practitioner who is serving a federally recognized Indian tribe

This individual will provide support to the Accounting Associates, Accounting Supervisor and CFO.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cash management including bank account reconciliations and cash forecast
  • Sending Wires and ACH payments to approved vendors
  • Manage AP process
  • Manage US and Canadian Sales Tax accounts to ensure timely and accurate reporting (prior experience with Sales Tax filings preferred)
  • Manage Intercompany account
  • Review general ledger accounts and balance sheet reconciliations to prepare adjusting journal entries as part of the month-end close process
