Job Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance position plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational safety and efficiency of aircraft. This position involves extensive hands-on work in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft to ensure compliance with safety regulations and performance standards.
Essential Functions:
- Performs maintenance, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, re-assembly or adjustment of various aircraft components in accordance with technical specifications, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify any wear, tear, or damage, and carry out necessary repairs.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot and resolve aircraft system issues.
- Adhere to maintenance manuals, technical specifications, and regulatory requirements during all maintenance activities.
- Document all maintenance activities accurately in maintenance logs and records.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and provide feedback on aircraft performance and any issues encountered.
- Ensure that all tools, materials, and equipment are calibrated correctly and maintained in good working condition.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance maintenance processes and practices.
- Performs flightline operations, aircraft inspections, or repairs, sometimes in confined spaces and inclement weather.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering documentation.
- Ability to obtain certification to operate self-propelled vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, aircraft support equipment, and towing vehicles.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 6 months experience in aircraft maintenance on P8-A, preferably with a focus on complex mechanical and avionics systems.
- Ability to pass a flightline physical.
- Must have required tools prior to starting work; tool list will be provided. Tools must be shadowed and engraved. L3Harris will provide the material to complete this task upon hire.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification preferred.
- Experience with a variety aircraft models that the company operates, such as C-130, P-8A, G550, etc.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills with a focus on avionics and electrical systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with engineers, customers, and other maintenance staff.

L3Harris Intelligence & Cyber Sector, within the Space and Mission Systems Segment, is seeking an experienced System Software Integration and Test Engineer to support complex cyber-resilient, cloud-based solutions across the full product lifecycle. The selected candidate will lead and support system integration and test activities, including requirements analysis for testability, test architecture development, integration planning, verification execution, anomaly resolution, and production support, while developing and executing test plans, procedures, and integration flows for subsystems, lower-level assemblies, and end-to-end First Article testing.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating integration activities across test beds, hardware/software-in-the-loop environments, and software simulators developed internally and by subcontractors.
