  • Connect Oso Semi with decision-makers at satellite operators, terminal OEMs, and ground station integrators.
  • Understand customers\' pain points, and articulate Oso Semi\'s beamforming value proposition in language customers respond to.
  • Provide insight on pricing, competitive positioning, and differentiation strategies.
  • Monitor market dynamics, customer activity, and competitive developments to keep Oso Semi\'s leadership team informed and strategically positioned.
  • Support development of customer-facing materials, demo strategies, and pitch narratives.
  • Represent Oso Semi at key industry conferences and events, driving strategic introductions, coordinating customer and partner meetings, and expanding the company\'s visibility across the SATCOM and RF ecosystem.
  • Assist with investor conversations and government funding opportunities (SBIR, AFWERX, DARPA).

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years in BD, sales, or partnerships in SATCOM, RF/microwave, or semiconductor.
  • Active network with satellite operators, ground station integrators, terminal OEMs, and equipment vendors.
  • Track record driving BD for early-stage or deep-tech companies.
  • Ability to translate complex RF/semiconductor features into business value.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with phased arrays, ESAs, or mmWave front-end solutions.
  • Understanding of SATCOM regulatory and spectrum challenges (FCC, ITU).
  • Relationships with defense/government SATCOM programs (DoD, Space Force, AFRL).
  • Prior advisory or board experience helping deep-tech startups.
  • Familiarity with other players in this space: Skyworks/Qorvo, Renesas, Sivers, pSemi, Analog Devices.

Why Oso Semi?

  • Meaningful equity: Advisory grants with real upside.
  • Flexible: 10 - 20 hours/month, structured around your availability.

  • Early access: Seed/Series A stage = maximum strategic impact.
  • Mission: Satellite comms is undergoing a generational shift. Oso Semi is built for that future.

What We Offer

  • Equity: Advisory stock option grant. 2-year vesting, 3-month cliff.
  • Retainer: Optional monthly retainer, negotiated based on engagement scope.
  • Access: Direct line to the CEO and our founding engineering team.
