Unit Details: - Fast-paced, high-acuity cardiac telemetry unit. - Monitor techs watch patients, and tele monitors are available at each nurse station. - Uses lift equipment, bladder scanner, interpreter iPad, and BiPAP monitoring. - Patient population includes CHF, chest pain, arrhythmias (mostly AFib, flutter, SVT), respiratory, renal, and hemodialysis patients. - Overflow patients may include sepsis, urology, surgical, ETOH/drug withdrawals, isolation, and GI bleeds.

Shift & Scheduling: - Holidays as required. - Every other weekend as required by facility. - No call. - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week may be considered. - Night shift orients on day shift; traveler must be available the entire week for orientation.

Floating Requirements: - Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - 1 year Tele, inpatient only. - Experience and competence in drug titration.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - 1 year Neuro, inpatient only.

Special Requests: - Blocked scheduling with no specific days may be approved based on facility requirements. - RTO must be made up on the back end. - RTO will not be approved in the first week of assignment. - Holiday RTO: only 1 request per assignment.

Unit Details: - Patient ratios vary: days 1:5-1:6, nights 1:6-1:7. Ratios are not guaranteed and are adjusted based on circumstances. - Uses tele, lift equipment, IV pumps, and tube feeding pumps. - Patient population includes Neuro, Med, and Med Tele. - Cares for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities.

Shift & Scheduling: - Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. - Weekend hours as required by facility. - Call requirements: none. - Night shift orients on day shift and must be available the entire week.

Floating Requirements: - Will float on a rotational basis.

Details:

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
