Uses Alaris pumps, Pyxis, Phillips monitors, VS3 vital sign monitors, Nova Glucose Stat Strips, portable vital sign monitors, bladder scanners, portable oxygen systems, external fixators, chest tubes, JP drains, Hemovac drains, PCA pain management, and suction machines. Support includes 2-3 CNAs per shift, unit secretary 7a-11p with house-wide call secretary 11p-7a, charge nurse may have patients, lab collect phlebotomy with nurses drawing from CVLs, PICC team, discharge nurses, resource team, and central telemetry monitoring.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend rotation: 6 weekend shifts out of 12 on a 6-week schedule. No call. Work one shift of each major holiday: Thanksgiving Day or the day after, 12/24 or 12/25, and 12/31 or 1/1.

Floating Requirements: Float to all adult med-surg/telemetry units in house.
