Business Process SME

BDO is seeking a Business Process SME to support project delivery activities for civilian agencies. This role will provide significant subject matter knowledge in project management across various solution, process improvement, or initiative areas. These areas could also include: operations, compliance activities, finance, information technology; policies and procedures; defining, documenting, and mapping requirements and new processes; identifying gaps in existing processes; and creating guidelines and SOPs.

Job Duties:

  • Oversees all project activities, from initial client interaction to final delivery
  • Ensures strict adherence to project scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Implements effective risk management strategies to guarantee value delivery to clients, including:
    • Providing regular status updates, briefings, and/or reports
    • Conducting weekly meetings via Teams
    • Tracking dates, risks, action items, documents, dependencies, assignments, and metrics in SharePoint, MS Planner, and/or MS To Do

  • Delivers periodic performance feedback and completes the annual performance evaluation for Public Sector staff as appropriate

Working Conditions & Travel Requirements

Please understand, this schedule is subject to change at the Institute's sole discretion.

This person will also be required to travel occasionally to other offices and/or venues to assist with events as needed, requiring occasional work outside of traditional hours. Additionally, this position requires interacting virtually on a regular basis with Milken Institute staff based in other locations in the United States and around the world.

Role as a Home Health Occupational Therapist

As a Home Health Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Assess/screen patient's daily living/work-related skills and develop therapeutic retraining programs with measurable objectives.

  • Recommend and/or design special adaptive equipment for clients to improve residence or working environments or improve their participation in the rehabilitation program and/or community.
  • Design/train staff and family members to carry out the retraining program including dressing, feeding, grooming and hygiene skills, participate in team and family educational meetings.
  • Supervise, instruct and evaluate Occupational Therapy Assistant and Home Health Aide performance in implementing occupational therapy services.

•W2 physicians earn, on average, $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week (Part-time opportunities available).

Practice Overview:
 
•Full-time work: Monday - Friday (7 am - 4 pm) or part-time available.
•No call / No weekend clinical responsibilities.
• Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting: Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals.
• Our physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
• Part-time role is a minimum of 3 days per week. The full-time role is 4-5 days per week.
• This is a mobile practice: The physicians visit facilities in a 40 – 60 mile radius of the practice location.
• Our physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day.
