The Sonographer Vascular I is responsible for daily operations of the echo lab, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality improvement. The sonographer is proficient in performing basic transthoracic echoes and transesophageal echoes. Temp Assignment Based MRI Technologist

Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound procedures with accuracy and compassion.
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to provide precise and timely diagnostic information.
Ensure the comfort, dignity, and safety of each patient throughout their imaging experience.

This position is a Temp Assignment Based MRI Tech for up to a maximum of 9 months.

This PRN position works typically 36 to 40 hours/week.

The Temp MRI Tech position will pick up PRN shifts (could be up to 40 hours/week) at Charlotte, NC, Region Medical Center locations and could convert to a Novant Health permanent employee after the 9 months.

Education: 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred. Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required.
Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in MR , preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
- NH Medical Center-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required.
- NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility - Certified and Registered within 6 Months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required.
- Hospital Outpatient Department-Certified and registered by ARRT in MR - RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required.
- IV Credentialed, preferred.
- Applicable state license, required.
Additional Skills/Requirements (required):
- Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has the ability to interpret information to identify each patient's requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs. Good communication skills.
