Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Dietary Worker. In this role, the successful candidate performs routine general service tasks in kitchen cafeteria dining room dish room and patient areas.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completed production sheets and temperature logs as needed.
  • Fosters an environment that promotes teamwork.
  • Maintains established department policies and procedures objective QI programs safety environment & IC standards.
  • Tends & loads dish machine
  • Prepares & delivers late trays to patients on the units and ER.

  • Assembles food trays for regular & modified diets per patient diet order/request.
  • Visits patient for verbal menu selection.
  • Sets up stations before meal service.
  • Sweeps/mops floor & performs assigned special cleaning duties.
  • Prepares cold foods such as salads desserts, sandwiches etc for patients cafeteria catered functions according to production sheets and written/oral instructions.
  • Pans prepared food per production sheets and labels properly.

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Ability to read, write, speak English and follow oral/written directions.

Preferred Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous hospital and/or food service experience desirable.

Key Responsibilities

Join Our Surgical Technologist Team at Logan Health!

Location: Logan Health Whitefish Birth Center – Whitefish, Montana Schedule: Night Shift – 12 Hours | Full-Time – 36 Hours

This position is a member of the Labor & Delivery surgical team and provides care to the patient during the peri-operative period of obstetric procedures. Possesses knowledge and understanding of the types of procedures performed in OB, including cesarean sections and postpartum surgeries, with appropriate use of surgical instrumentation. Arranges instrumentation to achieve maximum efficiency, anticipates the needs of the surgical team, maintains the integrity of the sterile field, and participates in surgical counts. As a Surgical Technologist supporting our Labor & Delivery unit, you’ll:

  • Prepare and arrange OB-specific surgical instruments and equipment for cesarean sections and other obstetric procedures.
  • Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and assist the team in providing efficient and safe care.
  • Maintain a sterile field and follow aseptic technique.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYNs, nurses, anesthesiologists, and other team members to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Assist in patient transfer and post-op care with professionalism and compassion.
  • Participate in surgical counts and assist with specimen handling.
What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist OR Certification through the certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc.
  • AHA BLS Certification (or must be obtained within 2 months of hire)
  • Experience in obstetric or women’s health surgical settings (preferred)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to remain calm in emergent situations

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of one (1) of the following required:
  • Graduate of an approved school of Operating Room Technologist.
  • Military trained.
  • Obstetrics (OB) assignment: Minimum of one (1) of the below requirements:
  • Current CNA License and a minimum of one (1) year on the job training in a related role.
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ OB specific job‑related experience.
  • Ophthalmology assignment: Surgical Technologist experience.
  • Previous hospital experience with skills in a variety of cases performed preferred.
  • Current AHA BLS Certification or must successfully obtain within two (2) months of hire.
  • Surgical Technologist Certification through the certifying body of the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self‑starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

Job Specific Duties:
  • Participates in the planning process for surgical procedures.
  • Accurately selects all equipment and supplies needed for surgical cases.
  • Accurately sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and solutions as needed for procedure.
  • Utilizes proper application of the aseptic technique when opening surgical supplies to the sterile field, and while organizing the sterile supplies and equipment for procedures.
  • Performs proper hand washing protocol, donning of sterile attire, and begin preparations for the surgical procedure per department procedures.
  • Exhibits proper usage of surgical drapes to cover patients.
  • Maintains and exhibits highest standard of sterile technique during procedures.
  • Ensures a safe environment for the patient by maintaining the integrity of the sterile field per department protocol.
  • Evaluates all instrumentation and technical equipment to assure it is in proper and safe working condition.
  • Communicates faulty or broken instruments to Sterile Processing.
  • Exhibits knowledge of the structure and function of the human anatomy and appropriate interventions to prevent and/or minimize trauma to the patient.
  • Properly utilizes surgical instruments to assist the surgeon during the procedure.
  • Participates in counts prior to, during and the end of a procedure per department procedures.
  • Provides care to the patient in the application of dressings and while transferring the patient to the recovery area.
  • Works in a calm and efficient manner and exhibits an excellent working knowledge of surgical asepsis and breaks in technique.
  • Checks assigned specialty non-stock and stock supplies to ensure an adequate quantity is available for procedures per department procedures.
  • Communicates issues in maintaining supply levels to appropriate stakeholder per department protocol.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders in maintaining and updating the preference cards/pick lists.
  • Exhibits a commitment to professionalism while undertaking and completing all departmental competencies.
  • Performs administrative duties, advises leadership of status changes, and works collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Exhibits knowledge of medications used during the intra-operative period.
  • Anticipates the surgeon’s needs and reacts accordingly.
  • Efficiently passes the appropriate instrumentation, sutures and supplies to surgeons and/or assistant.
  • Assists as directed in cutting sutures and keeping track of items such as sponges, needles, etc.
  • Assists with the preparation and disposal of lab specimens as directed.
  • Assists team members with cleaning of room.
  • Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.
  • As applicable to Logan Health Whitefish (LHW) assignment: Processes and sterilizes instruments and supplies
  • Cleans and lubricates instruments and checks the integrity of instruments.
  • Accurately assembles instrument trays, prepares and labels for sterilization.
  • Exhibits knowledge and understanding with the operation of sterilizers, the methods for sterilization, and high-level disinfection.

Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America) Location: Logan Health Whitefish Birth Center – Whitefish, Montana Schedule: Night Shift – 12 Hours | Full-Time – 36 Hours Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Job Purpose and Impact
The Senior Capital Project Engineer will plan, support, and execute capital project engineering deliverables at our Fort Dodge, IA bio- refinery campus. The Fort Dodge site is part of the company's corn milling and texturizing solutions business and includes 5 different departments from corn milling to ethanol.

The Senior Capital Project Engineer will primarily be focused on mid to large sized capital projects from design to startup, while overseeing construction management, considering safety, schedule efficiency, cost management and documentation.

This professional will actively develop and apply engineering standards, project management procedures, and provide advice on issues within their engineering scope.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead the development of capital project scope, schedule, and budget while following project management deliverables and best practices. Coordinate staffing and development of construction, commissioning and start-up plans and assists operations in troubleshooting and optimization activities.
  • Perform process engineering for individual projects as needed to meet project objectives.
  • Lead equipment specification and procurement, and develop, review and award bid packages for equipment and labor.
  • Analyze and develop solutions to engineering problems related to manufacturing equipment and systems, or the causes of component failures.
