Safely operates a heavy-duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Operates vehicle in accordance with Occupational and Safety Health Act (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements as well as all local, state and federal requirements and Company expectations for the Fleet; maintains a clean and safe vehicle.

  • Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Supervisor.
  • Works closely with Supervisors to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts.
  • Performs all duties as scheduled by Supervisors or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed.
  • Notifies Supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage.
  • Notifies Dispatch or Supervisor of issues as prescribed by protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route.
  • Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Supervisor.
  • Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris.
  • Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed.
  • Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic.
  • Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route.

 POSITION SUMMARY: Our Certified Arborists will be responsible for assisting our client with conducting audits to assess completed work and facilities. 

What you will be responsible for: (Disclaimer: The lists below are not all inclusive)

  • Audit on-going and completed vegetation management jobs in the field to ensure compliance with the job requirements and approved tree removal and pruning standards. Post-audit forms shall be filled out indicating the adequacy of the vegetation management work completed. Post-audit forms are to be forwarded to the appropriate Client Representative.
  • Secure the permission of each property owner before the vegetation management contractor commences tree removal work on any property for which Client does not already have removal rights. If the removal rights are not known or are unclear, then the QAVMFA shall obtain Permission prior to the removal of any tree.
  • Promptly inform Client’s Representative in writing of each instance in which QAVMFA is unable to obtain Permission or permits.
  • Supervise individual tree replacement and high production seedling planting activities ensuring proper tree is chosen for site and planting techniques comply with ISA standards.
  • As deemed necessary by Client's Representative, the QAVMFA may be required to perform emergency or storm related tree work at any time. If required to perform such emergency or storm related work, QAVMFA shall ensure that all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform such work shall be available within twenty-four (24) hours of Client's notification to QAVMFA that such work is required.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

You must have the following: (Minimum)

  • Authorized to work in the US and willingness to travel
  • Certified Arborist through (ISA, ASCA or Certified or Degreed Forester)
  • Licensed, Registered and/or Certified in Vegetation Management, Forestry, or Arboriculture
  • Two years’ experience working on vegetation management issues for utility rights of way

POSITION SUMMARY: The Regional Director of Programs is responsible to ensure high quality services and effective daily operations of all aspects of the My First Place Program. Duties include managing budgets and contracts, multi-site supervision, services and human resource management including hiring, evaluation, coaching and training. The Regional Director of Programs is responsible to ensure program outcomes, to manage external relationships, and to develop and promote the reputation of First Place for Youth at all times. The Regional Director of Programs provides leadership congruent with agency policy, values and mission, provides management reports as required, and leads significant program committees or functions as assigned. For this multi-site and multi- program position the Regional Director of Programs will be responsible for the operational success ensuring seamless team management and development, program delivery, quality control and evaluation.

DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Program Operations

  • Leads projects and program implementation ensuring quality, productivity and services delivery standards
  • Resolves problems, completes audits, identifies trends and recommends, determines and implements system improvements.
  • Achieves or exceeds operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategies plans and reviews, preparing and completing actions, managing assigned projects
  • Leads and manages improvement and change efforts
  • Participates agency-wide workgroups and projects as assigned
  • Responsible for all aspects of program including physical plant, safety, compliances, service delivery, program enhancements, growth and reputation and stakeholder relationships.

Human Resources

  • Recruits, selects, orients, trains, assigns, schedules, coaches, counsels assigned employees to achieve program results and highest quality services.
  • Enforces policy, communicates job expectations, plans, monitors and appraises performance
  • Review and recommend compensations actions
  • Provides clinical and programmatic supervision and leadership to the ACSF and Santa Clara MFP/TLP Clinical Program Managers.
  • May include direct clinical supervision of staff as needed

Fiscal/Budget Management

  • Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing and recommending annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
  • Includes keen attention to vacant, census, staffing and other metrics to ensure fiscal health of program

Community Development

  • Represents agency interest and advances agency reputation with external stake holders including partners, sub-contractors, county agencies and others.
  • Collaboratively explores and recommends program and contract improvement and change.

Leadership

  • Collaborates and communicates effectively throughout organization
  • Exemplifies and promotes standard of high achievement
  • Recommends strategic and program improvement through participation on assigned program leadership team

Training and Compliance

  • Ensures program meets or exceeds all regulatory and contract requirements including development of formal training program for staff
  • Facilitates Litmos training and other onboarding trainings as needed
  • Other Duties as assigned

 Qualifications:  

  • MA or MSW required; LCSW or LMFT with two or more years of post-licensure experience preferred.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible program management experience, preferably in a high-growth, youth-serving organization with five years of supervisory experience leading multi-level teams required.
  • Direct service experience — at least five years working with youth facing systemic barriers, preferably youth currently or formerly in foster care. Milieu or wraparound experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead across multiple sites and manage a geographically distributed team.
  • Demonstrated success designing, evaluating, and operationalizing innovative program models.
  • Working knowledge of community resources and referral networks that meet the needs of youth in the My First-Place program.
  • Strong understanding of social service systems, with particular depth in the foster care system and services for young adults and young parents.
  • Strong project management skills, with a record of leading complex, multifaceted projects to measurable results and program growth.
  • Program budget management experience required.
  • Strength in recruiting, hiring, coaching, developing, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated commitment to cultural competency, removing barriers and building a sense of belonging for youth and staff.
  • A car, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance required; regular travel to program sites and 
  • Occasional evening and weekend availability as needed.

Degrees in Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Physical Sciences, or other scientific disciplines with a strong computational, mathematics, or computer science background may also be considered.

Candidates with other degree disciplines may qualify if they have earned a Data Science certificate from an accredited college or university.

Relevant experience may include machine learning, data science, advanced analytics, statistical analysis, programming, data management, data mining, data modeling, artificial intelligence, or software engineering.
