Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in physical therapy from an accredited school approved by the APTA.
  • Active Maryland PT license required to start the position.

  • Home health experience preferred. Experience providing home visits across Charles, St. Mary's, and Calvert counties is desirable.
  • Ability to maintain a schedule of minimum five patient visits per day between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm. Typical travel time between visits should be less than 1015 minutes.

  • Experience with or willingness to use MatrixCare EMR.
  • Open to new graduates. Customized training is provided based on candidate experience.
  • Client is open to hiring a PTA to fill the full-time clinical need. PTAs should be able to complete approximately six visits per day in this role.

The Brook Hill Alliance (formerly PLUS) is a global leader in providing English language courses to international students. Brook Hill runs summer English language study and travel programs for international high school students across North America. The programs allow students the opportunity to take English classes and explore the surrounding regions while staying at North American colleges and universities. The Academic Supervisor is a seasonal, hourly, and in-person position which manages the logistics of Brook Hill's academic program at a certain campus. Duties include managing a staff of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instructors and specialty course instructors, coordinating teachers' schedules, assigning teachers to classrooms, assigning students to classrooms (based on placement tests), supervising and providing feedback on instruction, addressing any issues as they arise, and providing customer service to students and their chaperones. This position is not eligible for on-campus housing. Travel to and from campus as part of your commute is not compensated. Costs related to parking may not be included, but complimentary parking permits may be available depending on the campus.

Time Commitment:

Some weeks may require up to six days of classes. Most lessons are 8:30am-12:15pm, with some additional afternoon classes 1:15pm-5:00pm. Some work outside of class hours will be required. Peak enrollment is usually the last two weeks of July.
  • Some overtime work may be expected.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Wage for this position is between $27-$34 per hour.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities: The following is expected of the Academic Supervisor:

  • Standard Expectations
    • Interact with groups of international high school students and their group leaders in a professional, enthusiastic, and customer service-oriented manner
    • Be familiar with, adhere to, and enforce Brook Hill policies and procedures, including emergency and public health protocols
    • Ensure the safety of all participants

    • Together with instructors, create a safe, comfortable, and engaging learning environment for all students
    • Review the curricula provided by Brook Hill to be adequately familiar with lesson plans. Instructors may supplement the curriculum with their own materials, as appropriate.
    • Download and review all online placement test scores per session; assist with sorting students into levels and classes based on test scores
    • Consult with instructors after the first lesson to ensure students have been placed into the correct level; conduct assessments of students' oral proficiency, as needed
    • Provide superior customer service to students and their chaperones
    • Meet with all chaperones at the beginning of each session to provide an overview of the academic programs and answer any questions; meet with chaperones as needed and as requested during the remainder of each session
    • Check all attendance sheets within the first 15 minutes of class and immediately address any student absences with group leaders and the rest of the Brook Hill team to locate students
    • Copy any worksheets needed per class and distribute to instructors as needed
    • Distribute classroom supplies to instructors as needed
    • Communicate with the host institution regarding classroom needs and technology issues, as needed
    • Coordinate the completion and distribution of end-of-course certificates
    • Attend and present at the students' graduation ceremony
    • Give presentation about programs
    • Conduct a one-hour observation of teachers (at minimum) and provide feedback to instructors
    • Conduct performance evaluations for each teacher
    • Fill in as substitute teacher for in-person and online lessons as needed
    • Oversee select online instructors and classrooms, as needed
    • Collaborate with the instructors and Brook Hill administration regarding instructional methods and the curriculum
    • Attend training session and any additional meetings organized by the Brook Hill administration
    • Train site-specific instructors
    • Maintain frequent and professional communication with instructors

Qualifications and Desired Skills:

Northrop Grumman (NG) is seeking an Industrial Security Manager 3 to lead and manage the sector-wide investigations, insider threat, and counterintelligence program for the Aeronautics Systems Sector. As a key member of the centralized NG Investigations, Insider Threat, and Counterintelligence Team, this role has primary responsibility for that sector while also enabling and supporting aligned investigative and insider threat efforts across the company. The role reports directly to the Corporate Director of Investigations and Insider Threat and serves as a principal advisor to the Aeronautics Sector Senior Security Director, as well as other sector and company leadership. This position is located in Melbourne, FL OR Palmdale, CA, and due to the dynamic environment and size of both the sector and the company, domestic and international travel is required.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide sector-wide leadership for investigations, insider threat, and counterintelligence activities, set priorities and ensure effective allocation of investigative and analytic resources.
  • Serve as an enterprise leader and thought partner by helping to shape and implement policies, procedures, workflows, initiatives, and cross-sector teaming efforts.
  • Develop and maintain procedures, operating standards, and investigative protocols.
  • Track program performance using key metrics and preparing reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
  • Recommend improvements which enhance operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
  • Maintain well-established liaison relationships in the investigations, insider threat, and counterintelligence arenas with law enforcement, prosecutorial agencies, and the intelligence community, such as DCSA, FBI, AFOSI, and NCIS.

Enterprise Investigations

  • Manage the corporate investigations program for the sector, including allegations of insider threat activity, counterintelligence concerns, workplace violence, fraud, misconduct, theft, policy violations, and other security-related incidents.
  • Lead and oversee investigators and case work to ensure fair, objective, legally defensible investigations and compliance with government, customer, and corporate policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Conduct and oversee insider threat and counterintelligence investigations consistent with applicable government and corporate protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for investigations and operations.
  • Review investigative findings, ensure appropriate documentation and evidence preservation, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor metrics and trends to identify systemic risks, emerging issues, and opportunities for continuous improvement.

Insider Threat & Risk Management

  • Lead and administer the sector's Insider Threat Program, while helping to shape and inform the company's overall insider threat program through data, gap and trend analysis, and operational insights.
  • Monitor and analyze security incidents and investigative trends to identify emerging risks, including insider threats.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address potential threats, risks, and vulnerabilities.

Security & Compliance

  • Oversee investigations of security complaints and compliance concerns while ensuring consistent application of company policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Interpret, apply, and ensure adherence to federal security regulations that govern company operations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DOD Manual 5205.07 Special Access Program Security Manual, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and other applicable directives.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assist with updates to policies, procedures, and compliance programs.

Training & Awareness

  • Develop and deliver security education and awareness, and implement corporate investigations, insider threat, and counterintelligence programs across cleared and uncleared facilities.

Stakeholder & Agency Partnerships

  • Build collaborative relationships across the sector and company to ensure aligned decision-making and consistent execution.
  • Partner closely with Ethics, Labor and Employment, Employee Relations, Cybersecurity, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, security counterparts, business leaders, and relevant government agencies (e.g., DCSA) to identify and mitigate company risks and insider threats, strengthen compliance, and protect company assets.
  • Coordinate information sharing between internal stakeholders and external law enforcement and government entities to support security investigations and broader security objectives, partnering with Legal as appropriate.
  • Support government reporting requirements and regulatory inquiries, in coordination with internal stakeholders and government partners.
