  • Monthly general ledger accounting activities for company operations, including preparation and posting of journal entries, accruals, and account analysis
  • Prepare and review monthly operating expense and capital expenditure accounting activities
  • Perform monthly and quarterly closing activities including preparation of supporting schedules and reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly accruals including operational cost accruals and unrecorded liabilities

  • Participate in audit requests and provide support for internal and external audit inquiries
  • Recommend and support improvements to accounting systems, processes, controls, and procedures, including SOX compliance requirements
Requirements:
  • 10+ years’ general ledger accounting experience in private industry and/or public accounting 
  • Experience with month-end close processes including journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Experience with lease accounting and fixed asset accounting preferred
  • Understanding of GAAP financial statements and accounting principles
  • Ability to perform detailed account analysis and communicate concise explanations to management
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Experience with BlackLine, CoStar, or similar accounting systems preferred
