Restoration Technician
Next Level Restoration and Remodel
Albuquerque, NM

Job Description

Job Description

You don’t need experience — you need discipline, effort, and the right environment to learn.

This role is designed to train restoration technicians through clear systems, hands-on work, and real expectations. If you want to build real skills, work with a professional crew, and learn restoration the right way, this role gives you structure, support, and a clear path forward.

Who We Are

Next Level Restoration & Remodel is an Albuquerque-based restoration and remodel company built on craftsmanship, accountability, and respect — for clients, for homes, and for the people doing the work.

We specialize in water, mold, and fire restoration followed by high-quality rebuilds. Our standard is simple:

  • Safety is non-negotiable
  • Systems matter
  • Homes are treated with care
  • Technicians are trained, trusted, and expected to perform

This is a company for people who want to grow into professionals — not just clock hours.

The Role

Role Title: Restoration Technician
Status: Full-Time, Field Role

You support restoration projects across mitigation, remediation, and rebuild phases. You work alongside Lead Technicians and Project Managers to execute jobs safely, cleanly, and according to established systems.

What Success Looks Like

You are successful in this role when:

  • Jobsites are protected, organized, and safe
  • Equipment is set up and broken down correctly
  • Containment is installed cleanly and professionally
  • Demo, cleanup, and rebuild support are completed without rework
  • Documentation is accurate and consistent
  • Leads and PMs can rely on you without constant oversight

This role rewards consistency, attention to detail, and follow-through.

What You’ll Do

You will:

  • Stage and protect job sites (floor protection, containment, barriers)
  • Set up drying and air-quality equipment
  • Perform demolition, cleaning, drying, and rebuild support tasks
  • Maintain clean, professional job sites
  • Follow restoration systems, checklists, and safety protocols
  • Document work accurately and communicate clearly with Leads and PMs
  • Operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment responsibly
  • Represent the company professionally in client homes

Who This Role Is For

This role is a strong fit if you are:

  • Accountable & Reliable — you show up, on time, ready to work
  • Detail-Oriented — you take pride in doing things correctly
  • Safety-Focused — PPE and jobsite awareness matter to you
  • Craftsmanship-Proud — even in prep, protection, and cleanup
  • Coachable & Growth-Minded — you want to get better, not just faster
  • Respectful of Property — you treat homes with care

Experience in restoration or construction is helpful, but not required.
What matters most is attitude, effort, and consistency.

Who This Role Is NOT For

This role is not a fit if you:

  • Cut corners to move faster
  • Need constant supervision to stay productive
  • Ignore safety or documentation standards
  • Treat cleanup and protection as optional
  • Get defensive when corrected
  • Are not reliable

We’re building professionals — and we’re selective about who joins the team.

What Makes Next Level a Great Place to Work

At Next Level, technicians succeed because expectations are clear and support is real.

You can expect:

  • Full-time, steady work
  • Structured onboarding and hands-on training
  • Clear expectations and defined systems
  • Respect and autonomy in the field
  • Leadership support that removes obstacles
  • A real path to advancement for high performers

Whether you’re early in your career or ready to level up, this role gives you a foundation you can build on.

Compensation & Benefits

This is a full-time field role.

Compensation is based on experience, demonstrated skill, reliability, and consistency in the field.

Benefits include:

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO)
  • Ongoing training and development

Next Steps

If this role sounds like the right fit:

  • Apply with your basic information and work history
  • We’ll schedule a conversation to confirm alignment

If you’re willing to work hard, learn the trade, and hold yourself to a higher standard, we want to meet you.
