Job Summary

Manages achievement of department sales and profits using acceptable business practices. Provides leadership of department personnel. Maintains product levels and quality control in grocery department. Ensures products are displayed in accordance with Brookshire Grocery Company standards and all regulatory food safety practices. Promotes customer service and sales building practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Carries out management responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, training and developing partners; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining partners; and scheduling, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Reviews historical data to predict future sales from ads and promotions. Manages inventory using item management processes to ensure satisfactory in-stock levels. Reviews profit and loss, sales, shrink, and labor data; provides verbal or written summary to upper management regarding any related issues.
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving sales performance, financial results, public relations, product quality, and work standards.
  • Inspects product for quality control and food safety standards. Ensures product is within date and rotates accordingly.
  • Promotes product sales through use of suggestive selling initiatives and appealing product displays.
  • Ensures maintenance of stock conditions on grocery display racks and shelves.
  • Checks inventory on trucks, unloads products, and ensures accuracy of inventory, product ordering, and associated paperwork.
  • Frequently required to open/close the store. Ensures the store is presentable for the customer shopping experience; makes certain adequate staff is available; ensures safety, responsiveness, and fiscal management of cash and monetary assets.
  • Provides friendly and customer service-oriented attitude by greeting customers, answering questions, and responding to customer complaints.
  • Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.

Job Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Your Impact

  • Provide Power Delivery project management leadership for large-scale and complex utility infrastructure projects, ensuring clear task ownership, schedule accountability, and delivery milestones across transmission, distribution, and substation scopes; prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, earned value, hours and expenses, monitor external risks and contingencies, and ensure contractual compliance and successful delivery of assigned Power Delivery project portfolios.

Who You Are

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Civil, Mechanical), Engineering Technology, Physical Sciences, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience within an A/E/C, utility, EPC, or power delivery consulting environment.
  • 15+ years of progressive post-education experience in a project management or senior technical leadership role, preferably supporting power delivery, transmission & distribution (T&D), substation, or utility capital projects.

Prior work experience and educational requirements

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in the construction industry with a contractor engaged in general building construction. Preferred experience in the Mission Critical sector (Data Centers)
  • Prior experience with welding to include certification in code stamp.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of construction materials, methods, and techniques, specifically in the Mechanical (Process Piping, Hydronic Piping, Fuel Oil, Plumbing, High Purity, Medical Gas) sector.
  • Combination of high school diploma with QC experience and certifications will be considered.
  • AWS QC1 CWI Certification highly desired
  • ASME PCC-1 Bolting Certification highly desired
  • Cx (Commissioning) experience with HVAC equipment such as Chillers, Condensers, Mini-Splits, RTU's, Pumps, CDU's, CRAH, CRAE etc. highly desired.
  • Proficient in MS-based software including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Proficient with QA/QC systems, platforms, and technologies that allow for tracking, metrics and reporting. Cx Alloy, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, Project Sight etc.
  • OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification. 


Physical Demands

The Role


We are currently seeking Production Associates to join our manufacturing team. This is an entry‑level position responsible for stacking, banding, and grading cut lumber to specific dimensions. Production Associates play a key role in supporting safe, efficient plant operations while working as part of a collaborative team environment. 


Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:36 p.m. (Enjoy your weekends!)
Starting Pay: $15.00–$16.00 per hour

What You’ll Do


  • Stack cut lumber to specified dimensions
  • Band and grade lumber according to quality and safety standards
  • Work safely in hot and cold manufacturing environments
  • Follow all safety guidelines and plant procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to support production goals
  • Maintain awareness of surroundings and equipment while performing physical tasks
