Position Overview: The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) performs a vital, front-line function in the facility, serving as the eyes and ears of the treatment team. The BHT is the liaison between patient and clinical/medical staff whose priority is to assist in providing a safe and caring environment for individuals in recovery. The primary responsibility of the BHT is to help ensure patient safety by performing regular patient rounds, make and record observations, and timely report any concerns to a member of the nursing staff and management. Patients need care 24 hours a day, scheduled work hours may include nights, weekends and holidays. BHTs work under the shift supervision of the nursing staff.

  • Monitor patient activity, location, and safety at all times.
  • Conduct educational, recreational and therapeutic activities/groups.
  • Observe and interact with patients in all areas of the facility.
  • Circulate throughout the treatment center to ensure that the facility is secure and safe throughout each shift.
  • Observe patients to detect behavior patterns and report observations to medical staff.

  • Environmental Rounds, checking all rooms, including those locked, making sure all empty office doors always remain locked, patient restrooms for unusual or suspicious activity.
  • Ensure that all unoccupied patient beds are made and ready for a potential admission.
  • Oversee patients on assigned units: ensure patients follow daily schedules, escort patients to groups, meals, smoke breaks, activities, etc.

  • Transport patients to and from appointments and meetings, when necessary.
  • Attend clinical and administrative meetings to integrate interdepartmental sharing of information.

  • Complete Incident Reports and report any other safety/risk issues immediately to the Program Director.

The primary function of this branch is to provide clarity to partner nations on US SOF operational requirements and coordinate their support to US operations where national and security interests align, and in close coordination with the Theater Special Operation Commands (TSOCs) and other staff elements (J33, J35, J5). The secondary function of this branch is to address partner nation operational information gaps and assist in development of the international SOFCOP. Tasks include: Identify international SOF requirements and areas requiring deconfliction, synchronization, and coordination with US SOF operational headquarters and elements. Maintain the portal-based tracking mechanism currently for all PN requests for support, information, guidance, and status of requests for operational deployments to ensure effective PN SOF support to the Combatant Commands; track and action US requests for PN SOF support and capabilities. Support development of and maintain a common operational picture of PN SOF operations and activities to ensure their strategic interests are captured in USSOCOM planning forums such as Global SOF Synchronization Process (GSOS). Plan, schedule, draft content for, and execute coordination events (e.g. planning meetings, Secure Video Teleconferences (SVTCs), planning sessions using collaboration tools) with multiple TSOCs, components, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) SOF Headquarters (HQ), and PN SOF headquarters. Plan, schedule, draft content for, and coordinate PN SOF inputs to key USSOCOM, TSOC, and SOF component planning processes, including senior leader seminars, GSOS, Trans-Regional Synchronization Forums (TRSF), Strategic Coalition Alignment Forum (SCAF), key leader engagements, and J3-I communities of interest and communities of action. Enhance USSOCOM enterprise planning efforts to include PN SOF units and capabilities; develop and maintain metrics to assess enterprise integration with PN SOF. Coordinate with Foreign Disclosure Office (FDO) for release of USSOCOM, combatant command, and Department of War (DoW) plans to PN SOF representatives; provide a mechanism for tracking requests for information, support, and information release/disclosure. Where possible, integrate PN SOF directly into planning efforts to enable development of multinational courses of actions and options. Identify barriers to PN entry into planning processes and provide advice to government on options to address and resolve. Collect information from PN SOF and publish situation reports that enable J3 to maintain situational awareness and track upcoming decisions regarding the employment of PN SOF; synchronize that information with other inputs (e.g., SOLO, US embassy, TSOC, Geographic Combatant Command (GCC) reporting) and identify key leader decision points. About the role

The Account Executive will join our team in Denver to work with existing and potential accounts to secure new business, increase sales, and manage current accounts. Key Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/PRINCIPLE ACTIVITIES:

  1. Develop, implement, and oversee aquatic programs such as, but not limited to Lifeguarding; Parent & Child, Preschool, Youth, Private, and Adult Lessons; Family Swim Programs; all Rentals and Pool Parties; and Competitive and Precompetitive Swim Programs that reflect community needs and maintain the YMCA’s high standards of quality, safety, and caring.
  2. Ensure that pools meet all health and safety standards including a clean environment, appropriate air and water temperature, chemical balance, and timely pool water testing and backwashing. Secure pool facilities when not in use. Advise supervisor of safety and repair needs and concerns immediately.
  3. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate all paid and volunteer instructors and lifeguards as programs dictate and budget guidelines allow. Ensure that all staff have appropriate and updated certifications on file.
  4. Be an active participant of the Association Aquatics Team. Follow all Aquatics Quality and Safety guidelines consistently.
  5. Complete all required safety and quality documentation and drills on required timelines.
  6. Provide leadership and support in the development and implementation of the building EAP and safety, including staff training in CPR, First Aid, and Emergency Oxygen.
  7. Prepare payroll reports for Metro office.
  8. Monitor program registrations and participant records and certifications.
  9. Maintain a professional image and manner consistent with the YMCA mission and goals.
  10. Attend all staff functions, including annual All-Staff Conference, monthly Aquatics Leadership Meetings, and Quarterly Leadership Meetings.
  11. Participate in Staff Meetings, Board of Directors Meetings, and professional training as appropriate.
  12. Engage in active listening with members in order to build relationships, understand each individual’s goals and interests and take the initiative to assist in the achievement of those goals.
  13. Assist in other program areas as needed and as time permits, keeping in mind that Aquatics is still the primary area of responsibility.
  14. All other duties as assigned or needed.
 


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  
  • Some weekend and evening work is expected, with the flexibility needed to be available if needed for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.  
  • Travel will be necessary when attending trainings or  meetings.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.  
  • At least 21 years of age, with YMCA Lifeguarding certification. 
  • If Red Cross certified, the employee must cross over to YMCA certification within six months of hire.  
  • At least two years experience in instruction and management of a wide variety of Aquatics programs and pool maintenance.

The Rainbow Garden Assistant supports the Rainbow Garden Lead Teacher in providing an age appropriate Waldorf lunch and rest program that encourages the health, well-being, and safety of the children in their care. The Rainbow Garden Assistant position is part of the Early Childhood Education (“ECE”) program held after morning program hours from 12:15 pm to 3:15 pm, 5 days a week.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

● Assist Rainbow Garden Lead Teacher with set up for rest, helping children (ages 2.5-4 or 4-6) with their lunch, and clean up

● Assist in maintaining a warm and nurturing environment

● Oversee play with children on the playground

● Help with daily preparations of classroom, restocking materials and general order, cleanliness, and aesthetics in classroom

● Guide and encourage children with self-care as needed -toileting, dressing, and social behavior

● Direct parent communications about student behavior and concerns to Rainbow Garden Lead Teacher ● Become knowledgeable about campus Emergency Plan and be ready to implement
