The Opportunity

As our Senior Commercial Roofing Business Development & Project Manager, you will own both the client relationship and the successful delivery of the project.

You will identify opportunities, develop new business, guide customers through the roofing process, and coordinate with Farha Roofing's estimating and operations teams. Once a project is awarded, you will remain involved in managing communication, profitability, schedules, documentation, quality, and customer satisfaction through completion.

  • Meaningful professional influence: Your experience, market knowledge, and ideas will help shape our growth in St. Louis.

What You'll Do

  • Build, develop, and maintain relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, facility managers, general contractors, insurance professionals, REITs, and other decision-makers.
  • Generate new commercial roofing opportunities through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship development.
  • Evaluate customer needs and help develop appropriate commercial roofing solutions.
  • Lead the sales process from the initial opportunity through proposal, negotiation, and contract award.
  • Manage commercial roofing projects from the sale through final completion and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and other project stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with estimators, operations personnel, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, documentation, change orders, and overall profitability.
  • Help ensure projects meet Farha Roofing's standards for safety, workmanship, quality, and customer service.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients and identify opportunities for repeat business and long-term account growth.

What We're Looking For

  • At least five years of commercial low-slope roofing experience.
  • A successful record in commercial roofing sales, business development, project management, or a comparable client-facing leadership role.
  • An established professional network in the St. Louis commercial property or construction market is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of commercial roofing customers and markets, including property management, facility management, commercial real estate, insurance, general contracting, and REITs.
  • Ability to develop new business while also managing the operational and financial details of awarded projects.
