About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

We're looking for a dedicated individual with: Typically requires general and/or vocational training plus 2 to 4 years of related experience. An Associate's degree in electronics or electrical engineering capacity from an accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience. Direct experience working as a field technician. The capacity to meet or exceed the minimum performance standards for productive technical quality and customer satisfaction for assigned territory. The ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary). Capable of excelling in a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on-call rotations. Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). The Oral Surgery Assistant is responsible for assisting the Oral Surgeons in the clinical treatment of patients and for infection control efforts for oral surgery practice as directed by oral surgeon. This includes ensuring the availability and use of protective wear for all patients and employees; maintaining instruments and equipment; overseeing sterilization and waste management issues. The intent of this job description is to provide a summary of the major duties and responsibilities of this position and shall not be considered as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be inherent in the position.

Job Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients upon arrival and direct patients to and from operatory.
  • Ensures X-ray is current and of good diagnostic quality, shows entire tooth and root and was taken no more than 12 months before visit and take X-Rays and Cone-Beam CT scans as necessary
  • Room patients and complete full intake, including obtaining height, weight, and initial blood pressure. Review and update the patient's medical history; record blood pressure, oxygen saturation, and pulse; verify and update pharmacy information; and review current medications for accuracy.
  • Ensure operatories are properly set-up for procedures. Check to ensure that operatories, units, and clinical areas are stocked, cleaned, and disinfected after each patient and procedure.
  • Perform clinical procedures such as, connecting and disconnecting patient to monitors, and assist with removing IV's.
  • Complete all required pre?operative checklists prior to patient surgery and post?operative checklists prior to discharge to ensure safety and compliance with surgical protocols.
  • Update Sedation Narrator throughout surgery, including blood pressure, oxygen saturation, pulse, and medication administration.
  • At all times show care and concern for patients, ask about position in chair and attend to patient while in surgery and recovering. Give patient post-operative instruction, ensure understanding of same instructions, change gauze as required, and alert surgeon to any medical issues, patient concerns, or post-op complications.
  • Assist the provider in entering procedure codes for the current visit, ensuring all codes are accurate and paired with the appropriate diagnosis codes.
  • Create comprehensive treatment plans based on provider recommendations, enter them into the system with full accuracy, and print finalized plans for patient review and signature.
  • Schedule the patient's next visit directly from the operatory, including surgical procedures, follow?up appointments, and any required multi?visit treatment sequences.
  • Recognize and respond to basic and advanced dental and medical emergencies.
  • Maintain a supply and drug inventory for surgical procedures, infection control, and oxygen, nitrogen, and nitrous oxide tanks. Ensures all inventory items are unpacked and properly stored.
  • Discard all disposable items for each visit, discard regulated waste properly in accordance with state and local procedures, and properly soak all instruments in ultrasonic cleaner prior to sterilization.
  • Sort and package instruments for sterilization before loading, activating, and venting the sterilization unit according to the manufacturer's directions.
  • Clean ultrasonic units and autoclaves on regular basis and use a spore test once a week for sterilizers. Keep sterilization logs current and file spore test results.
  • Answer live calls and return clinical line voicemails; assess patient concerns, provide appropriate guidance, schedule post?operative emergency appointments when indicated, and escalate urgent or complex issues to the provider as needed.
  • Monitor and manage the clinical in?basket pool, responding promptly and accurately to patient messages regarding clinical concerns. Escalate messages to the provider when symptoms, complications, or medical decision?making exceed triage scope.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical And Sensory Requirements:

Requires sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours at a time). Continually use fingers for patient care, writing and handling patient charts. Routinely uses upper extremities; occasionally lift items up to 25 pounds. Occasionally pushcart with supplies up to 30 pounds. Occasionally push wheelchair with a patient weighing up to 325 pounds. Stoop, bend and reach above shoulder level regularly. Hearing as it relates to normal conversation and taking blood pressure readings. General vision, near vision, peripheral is all required.

Education:

High School degree or equivalent required. Graduates of an accredited American Dental Association program and/or coursework in dental instruments and procedures are strongly preferred.

Training And Experience:

  • Three years' experience in oral surgery office/dental office.
  • Customer service experience is strongly preferred.
  • DAANCE (Dental Anesthesia Assistant National Certification)
  • BLS/CPR: Current or within 60 days of hire; through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

Job Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (IT, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, etc.) coupled with 35+ years of successful project management leading projects of significant enterprise scope and impact.
  • 2+ years of experience in change management, organizational development, project coordination, communications, or a closely related field.
  • Working knowledge of change management frameworks, particularly ADKAR or Prosci methodology.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Project or functionally similar project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet).

What You'll Do

In this role, you will manage and direct the activities of a specific treatment unit, including providing supervision to staff assigned to the unit. You will ensure that all Abraxas policies and procedures are followed. You will serve as the primary role model for employees by leading, directing, guiding and supporting them in such a way that promotes their growth and development. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Maintain employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees.
  • Develop and implement systems to organize and monitor work activities.
  • Structure, implement, and facilitate new employee on-the-job orientation.
  • Conduct effective supervisory conferences and performance evaluations with employees, document the content of such meetings and evaluations, and provide feedback to them.
  • Schedule employee training to ensure that all mandatory training requirements are met.
  • Provide ongoing effective supervision to unit employees and monitor case management activities.
  • Demonstrates appropriate use of Safe Crisis Management (SCM) and provides effective supervision to staff regarding the use of SCM.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in human services field and one-year experience in residential treatment is preferred OR Associate's degree or (sixty) 60 credit hours from an accredited college/university and three (3) years' work experience with children. Other Qualifications: At least twenty-one (21) years of age Must have a valid Driver's License Physical exam that includes TB and drug testing. Must pass both federal and state background checks which screen for crimes including, but not limited to drug related crimes, violent crimes, sexual abuse, domestic violence, child abuse, and repeated misdemeanors. Satisfactory completion of background screening and applicable pre-employment checks, including but not limited to employment and/or personal reference and driving records. Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Schedule

Full-Time Monday-Friday, 2 Evening Shifts and 3 Day Shifts. Weekends rotate every 4-5 weeks.

Purpose of the position:

Support change-management efforts to ensure CI initiatives are adopted, sustained, and integrated into daily operations. Coach on High Performance Work Systems (HPWS) role model, promote servant leadership and Gemba Walks. Maintain and improve plant CI dashboards and KPIs (Productivity, OEE, Labor efficiency, scrap, services, deliveries etc.) and communicate regularly with the plant team. Lead deployment and sustain of tiered accountability systems through daily Management system, CI training program and Lean six sigma certification pathways. Govern plant CI maturity, ensuring consistent application of CI tools, frameworks and performance expectations across all departments. Support food safety and quality issues to Plant management and involve quality improvement activities, participate in CAPA, facilitate RCA on quality issues. Work with project management and R&D to facilitate flawless execution of new products, production modification and internal control procedures. Partner with Maintenance and Utilities teams to evaluate equipment reliability, downtime drivers, preventive maintenance effectiveness, energy consumption, and operational readiness and develop standards on asset reliability through training on breakdown analysis and TPM methodologies. Follow PIM Brands GMP rules and monitor fellow employees for adherence to GMPs. Will supervise at least one employee.

Qualifications

Must have a Master's degree in Industrial and System Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or closely related field plus at least 6 years of experience in food and beverage manufacturing industry. Experience supporting continuous improvement efforts in a manufacturing environment; experience in creating SOPs, work instructions, OPLs; experience working with a data driven platform such as REDZONE and deployment and implementation of the application on the shop floor and management level; and experience working with SAP S/4HANA, Rockwell Factory Talk and utilizing SAP analytics for analyzing data also required. Must possess Lean Six Sigma certification. Carrying

  • During delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing "walking" and "climbing" duties
  • Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves
  • Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store
  • Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray

Pushing

  • To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24"- 30" and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push
  • Trays may also be pulled

Climbing

  • During delivery of product, navigation of five or more flights of stairs may be required
  • Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance

Stooping/Bending

  • Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station

What you will do as a Waitstaff

  • Set and clear tables, take residents’ dining orders, and provide the highest level of customer service.
  • Review menus with residents and acquaint new residents with dining at Atria.
  • Assist with the preparation, delivery, and cleanup of daily meals, banquets, and special events.
  • Create a strong sense of teamwork with your colleagues and positive relationships with residents.
  • Clean and sanitize carpet, tables, chairs, condiment containers, and equipment used in the dining room.
