• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures product is delivered on a timely basis, according to assigned route. 
• Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g. handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store). 
• Pick s up, load s and unloa ds damaged goods and customer returns, and transports products back to SYGMA warehouse .
• Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g. DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly).

• Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g. proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and maintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard.
• Follow s preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise s management team of any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain s and safely operate s all assigned equipment, including but not limited to hand cart, pallets, load bars, SLS unit, and personal protective equipment.

• Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication.
• Communicates with management team regarding any deviations to route, trailer or loading issues and/or customer or product issues.
• Safely transports product picked up via backhauls and line hauls and ensures picked up product is correct and is delivered on a timely basis, according to established company standards.
• Works assigned schedule and works outside usual work schedule as needed to meet customer needs; exhibits regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned by Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma. 
• Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.

CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Knowledge of: DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices.

Skill in: driving over long distances, over a variety of terrains and in varying weather conditions, communicating with customers; solving problems; delivering product. 

Ability to: drive a tractor-trailer unit both in the day and at night in a variety of traffic and weather conditions and remain alert and aware of surroundings; meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company; handle hazardous materials and food and restaurant items that are frozen, dry and refrigerated; operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, on board computer, key pad and a 2 wheel hand cart; read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations; perform basic math functions (e.g. add, subtract, multiply, divide); e ffectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision; solve problems.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

SYGMA has immediate job openings for dependable CDL A Shuttle Delivery Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer SYGMA facility and shuttle yards. You may be required, on an as-needed basis, to unload/deliver various products to customer locations on an assigned route schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

As a current leader in the treatment of Juvenile Idiopathic Deformities that are amenable to growth modulation, some experience in the use of anterior vertebral body tethering is recommended. Finally, as early onset scoliosis patients are frequently referred to SHNC, treatment of EOS patients with EDF casting is a modality frequently deployed as a re VEPTR and MAGEC devices (Juvenile growth modulation). Currently, SHNC case volume averages 175 major Pediatric Deformities per year.As SHNC has no Emergency Department, call coverage is limited to on call rounding for inpatients and availability for hospitalized inpatients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthesia care for pediatric and neonate patients undergoing routine and complex procedures in the UC Davis Children’s Hospital operating rooms, cardiology catheterization labs and radiology suites, and participate fully in the after‑hours call system. An interest in pediatric cardiac anesthesia will be accommodated with the candidate caring for patients undergoing cardiac procedures during call hours and weekends. Responsibilities will include the education of medical students, residents and fellows, and allied healthcare professionals in all areas of general, ambulatory and regional anesthesiology for pediatric patients in Northern California’s only Level 1 Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center, and Level 1 Children’s Surgery Center, as designated by the American College of Surgeons. The applicant will occasionally provide anesthesia services to adult patients, and a proportion of the clinical duties will involve working as solo faculty. Health Sciences Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional and service activities.

The Boise practice is part of a larger, employed and integrated 18-member Cardiology team reaching across the health system from Boise to Baker City Oregon. Saint Alphonsus Heart Institute is also the only program in the region to be Chest Pain Accredited through the American College of Cardiology. Saint Alphonsus Cardiology also holds Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency designation for STEMI, Stroke and Trauma.

The schedule for this opportunity is M-F with mutual flexibility. Located at Boise Hospital (main campus) with outreach to clinics 1-2 times per month & affiliated telemedicine network facilities. Call is shared equally among 5 providers.

Support: Cardiac MRI and CT Angiography, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Trauma, Neurosurgery and a large group of Hospitalists and Intensivists. SAMG has a network of 74 primary and specialty care clinic locations. E.D. The cardiac cath lab is a staffed with board-certified cardiologists, registered nurses, radiology techs and cardiovascular technologists.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship program.
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Diseases through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM) with certification of special qualification (CSQ) in Interventional Cardiology - or obtain certifications within 3 years of employment.
• Unrestricted full license in Idaho and Oregon to practice medicine in all its phases Obtain Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC- Nampa, SARMC - Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
• Secure appropriate hospital medical staff privileges to include Stents, IVUS, Interventional left and right heart catheterizations, electrocardiograms, holter and echocardiogram interpretation, stress treadmill testing & supervision, stress echos, and pacemaker implantations and checks. Nuclear cardiology skills are welcome but not required. Echo board certification is also not a requirement. Interventional treatment of peripheral vascular disease is also available.
